It used to have great volume and length, and it looks like they've given it a refresh. The feel and performance are still just as good though! The volume and lengthening effect feel a bit weaker than before? The curl sets instantly as soon as you apply it, just like a regular mascara, and it stays put. Plus, there's no smudging at all! I really can't recommend this product. I bought it thinking it would be clear, but white clumps get all over my lashes like crazy. If you're someone who prefers a natural-looking lift rather than a heavily made-up appearance, this could be a great choice for you. The amount control is incredibly tricky. Even if you use just a tiny bit, white fixative residue appears on the lashes like dust particles. I thought I was getting a natural hold, but the white formula is so visible that it actually backfires. You really need to use minimal product for it to look natural, and having to carefully portion out the formula on the brush every single time is super annoying. This works beautifully for all skin types, and the staying power is really impressive! Once this dries, it clumps up and turns white, so you have to apply mascara before using it. Even if you apply mascara first and then this product, it still clumps and looks messy—like you have sleep in your eyes. It's frustrating because it doesn't blend smoothly. I bought this thinking I could use it like a clear mascara, and I'm really happy with how it lifts and defines my lashes beautifully. After a while, my lashes start to look white and chalky. If you're looking for something to use like a clear mascara the way I wanted to, I'd honestly recommend skipping this one. It applies so smoothly and naturally! At first it does set with a white cast, but once you get the hang of the technique, that disappears completely!! I naturally have longer lashes, and I really dislike how regular mascaras clump, smudge, and just look messy. That's why I only use this lash fixer, and since it has a natural finish, it locks everything in place without any clumping or smudging. It gives me these clean, innocent-looking lashes! So now when I do my no-mascara makeup look, just applying this alone keeps everything light and fresh while looking absolutely gorgeous! Since it's white, if you apply too much, your lashes can end up looking white too. So it's really important to use just the right amount! Even a tiny bit gives great staying power though! If you dab a little off on a tissue first and then apply it lightly, your lashes won't turn white and they won't clump at all!
