I don't love how heavy mascaras can look, but this one lets me control the amount so I can keep things looking natural and effortless. It's such a reliable staple! I use it as a primer before applying mascara, but since the primer itself has a black tint, I also wear it alone for a lighter eye look without mascara. Even on humid days like these, my lashes stay curled and set all day long after using an eyelash curler. I heard a rumor that it was being discontinued, so I drove all the way to a makeup store in a remote area and stocked up on over ten bottles. Then I found out they started selling it again on the website, haha! Honestly, there are no downsides to this product. If they ever announce it's really being discontinued, I'm buying a whole box.

This is a must-have product! The mascara absolutely doesn't flake off. When you use an eyelash curler first, the staying power is incredible. I honestly have no complaints at all! This is truly my holy grail product. I have heavy eyelids, monolids, and oily eyes, so most mascaras just smudge on me. But this one doesn't smudge at all!!! Since it's a fixer formula, it doesn't lengthen or volumize quite as much as a regular mascara, but honestly, it's a hundred times better than not wearing anything. I really hate clumpy mascaras too, and this applies so cleanly and smoothly! It gives a barely-there mascara look, so if you're thinking of it as a fixer, there's nothing disappointing about it. This is my absolute favorite fixer! The staying power is seriously incredible and the deep black shade works perfectly as a mascara alternative. I had high expectations since everyone raved about it, but since I have naturally long lashes that tend to droop, it wasn't as dramatic as I hoped, haha. That said, when I use it with a lash curler, primer, mascara, and lash straightener, my lashes definitely stay lifted much better than without the primer. I'm really happy with the results! I wouldn't recommend using this on its own. It looks fine when you first apply it, but after a while it starts to turn slightly white. It's technically a fixer, but the black color makes it perfect as a natural mascara alternative—I absolutely love it! It wipes off easily and applies in such a thin, lightweight layer. I've been using this since I first discovered it at Aritaum, and I've gone through dozens of tubes. It's been my holy grail throughout my entire twenties. Since I have naturally long and thick lashes, regular mascaras feel too heavy, and standard fixers tend to look chalky on me. This one hits that perfect sweet spot—the formula doesn't flake, and the staying power is absolutely fantastic. Honestly, there's nothing I'd change about it! It doesn't need a reformulation or anything. I just really hope they never discontinue it. It works beautifully on its own without feeling like too much.
