I was so sad when my favorite cherry-toned lip tint was discontinued, but I found this product and I'm so happy! At first, it's a bright, vibrant pink that really pops, but as time goes on, it settles into a softer, more sophisticated pink shade that's absolutely gorgeous. The only downside is that it has a typical lip tint scent that you notice a bit when you first apply it. If you're looking for that delicate pink lip feeling, I'd definitely recommend giving it a chance! There's a cooling sensation when you first apply it to your lips, which can feel a bit intense. As others have mentioned, because it's an affordable lip product, the tube doesn't feel super durable. The scent is hard to describe, but if you're sensitive to fragrance, you might find it off-putting. It has a very everyday, lightweight vibe, so it really works best as a base layer rather than a standalone lip color. I'd recommend applying a lip balm first and then layering this on top, since it does tend to emphasize dry patches. Since I have a deep undertone but lean toward light undertone shades, I prefer lighter, more transparent makeup looks. Hot pink is absolutely perfect for cool undertones rather than warm undertones. When you first apply it, the formula feels incredibly hydrating, but as time passes it transforms into a gel-like texture that barely transfers onto your mask. The staying power is really impressive too, lasting around 4 to 5 hours! If you have warm undertones, definitely skip this shade!

It has this amazing plumping effect too! This is definitely a shade worth stocking up on whenever they do their buy-one-get-one deals. Plus, it's not overly watery like some tints, so whether you prefer a matte finish or dewy lips, this one hits that perfect balance for everyone. The scent is a bit much, to be honest. But I've gotten used to it over time. It might feel a little off-putting at first, and I know the fragrance is pretty divisive, so it really depends on your personal preference. That said, once you wear it for a while, you do adjust to it. Even with the scent not being my favorite, the color is worth making that compromise. One coat doesn't give me enough color payoff, so I always apply it twice. Then I layer it with the Rom&nd Lip Matte on top, and it looks absolutely stunning.

I'm really into muted tones for summer... This applies so smoothly, and when I use it as a base with a super light hand, honestly it looks better than I expected! I'm pleasantly surprised. I picked the wrong shade and I'm kicking myself over it. The formula tends to clump a bit, especially around the lip line, which makes it uncomfortable to wear. To be honest, I can't really recommend it when there are so many prettier tints available these days.
