The staying power is fantastic and the color is absolutely gorgeous! 1. Excellent staying power (your lips won't turn white even after eating, though I was still careful to minimize transfer) 2. The formula applies smoothly and blends beautifully at first. Then it sets to a comfortable, powdery finish with minimal transfer - this is a lip tint that really stays put. 3. Pleasant, inoffensive scent (it has a subtle coconut chocolate fragrance) 1. Excessive dryness and lip irritation > I experienced lip irritation for the first time with this product. It contains Red No. 202. Of course, there's no proven direct link between Red No. 202 and the irritation. I suspect the formula's inherent dryness triggered it, and combined with my sensitive skin type, it created the perfect storm for irritation. If you have sensitive lips, I'd recommend being extra mindful about hydration after the tint sets, and being gentle during cleansing to avoid friction irritation. (The Glow Fixing Tint in Peach Milk Tea doesn't cause irritation - it's formulated without Red No. 202.) > The combination of irritation and dryness from the long-wear formula really emphasizes lip lines. This product doesn't have a primer function to smooth out texture. 2. The color runs warmer than expected (doesn't match the product description) > I'm not even sure if this is actually a mauve shade. When I applied it thinly, it shifted to this orange-peachy tone that felt more like a salmon brick color. With careful application and light layering, it does create a pretty, natural flush, but why call it mauve then? The mismatch between the name and actual color is misleading, which is disappointing. *Interestingly, the Glow Fixing Tint in Peach Milk Tea (the one without irritation issues) leans cool rather than warm and pulls more mauve. Neither product lives up to its name. I'd definitely recommend swatching any lip tint before purchasing. I hope the marketing team and product development team can communicate better so the actual color matches the promotional images. I absolutely love the formula and staying power, so I'd be thrilled to see more beautiful shades released without Red No. 202. Deep undertone, soft shade. I've found that highly saturated color products don't work as well for me. Please read this before deciding! I've completely finished two bottles of this product. The color payoff matched the product description perfectly, and I'm really happy with it. It pairs beautifully with other tints, so I find myself reaching for it constantly. If you love muted, understated shades, I'd definitely recommend this to you. Nowadays, so many tints have small quantities at high prices, but this one is generous with both the amount and the price point. I'm confident I'll keep repurchasing this going forward! The staying power is pretty good, but it does fade after eating. Since it's easy to touch up and reapply, that's not really a concern for me. It looks gorgeous when I layer it over a macadamia-based product. I'm really into those soft, muted nude tones lately, so I use a nude lip tint as my base and then dab this on top for that perfect autumn-inspired, effortlessly nude lip look.
