I was happily using the original version and decided to repurchase, but due to a seller's mistake, I received the Lightly Scented version by accident and had no choice but to try it. Since I didn't intentionally choose this version, I have to say my satisfaction level has definitely dropped quite a bit. First of all, the scent is really strange and feels off to me. I've read that many people say the original has a stronger fragrance, but honestly, I prefer the original. The formula between the original and lightly scented versions is slightly different, and while it's a subtle difference, I can definitely feel it in how they perform. I've tried both, and I'm convinced the original works better for me. If you're already using the original, I'd recommend sticking with it. I'm not satisfied with the scent. I've noticed that fragrance preferences really do vary from person to person. While I don't think this version works for me, I can see why others might enjoy it.

I use a retinoid treatment for exfoliation and breakout management, and when fall and winter arrive, even a slight increase in my retinoid strength leaves my face feeling dry, tight, and prone to flaking. After applying my retinoid, I layer a hydrating cream mixed with this product as a protective seal, and it keeps everything in perfect balance without any worry of irritation. On days when I'm skipping a full skincare routine, I do my morning essentials, then mix a hydrating cream with a bit of this product and finish with an organic green tea sunscreen. Nothing beats this combo in fall and winter. My face stays dewy all day long, and the balanced oil content actually helps regulate sebum production over time. When you use the right amount, your skin feels comfortable, stays hydrated, and honestly looks amazing. This is perfect for fall and winter! I have really dry skin, and the moisture it provides lasts such a long time. It also blends beautifully with makeup. The scent is really not for me. I'm usually not sensitive to fragrances, but this one is overwhelming. Plus, I can't use it in summer because it feels way too heavy on my skin. You also need to be careful with how much you dispense since even a tiny squeeze gives you more than you need.

On dry days, my foundation would crack and flake under my eyes. I apply just a tiny amount of this eye cream with a brush, gently patting it into the fine lines around my eyes, and it really does minimize the appearance of wrinkles and prevent that uncomfortable cracking. Plus, my makeup stays put beautifully without looking cakey. The scent is a bit off-putting and it feels like I'm applying petroleum jelly, though it does absorb to some degree. I use a concealer brush to apply a thin layer just on my extremely dry areas, gently filling in the fine lines. I've also mixed it with my hydrating moisturizer and applied it to my cheekbones, and it keeps that area from drying out. I'm really happy with how it works.
