I always use this in summer. The color looks so dark that I wondered if it was actually sold like this, but here's the thing—once you apply it, you can barely tell it's there. My husband does a lot of outdoor activities, so I got him to try it too. Since he has sensitive skin, his face gets a bit red every time he applies it, but I'm the one who uses it most. No issues with that. It's just slightly on the oily side, you know? These days there are so many sunscreens that leave your skin looking dewy when you apply them, but this one gives you a healthy, luminous glow. And I mean that in a good way—it's not sticky or greasy at all. Oh, if you use it with the Pre-Veil from the same line, it can feel a bit heavy. Keep your base skincare light before applying this. It's the struggle of combining high-performance skincare with a high-performance sunscreen.

It feels like you've applied a lightweight oil, and your skin feels incredibly light! Plus, it gives a subtle correction to sallow undertones, so it really feels worth the investment. Even though I have dry skin, the beautiful luminous finish keeps me reaching for it! The price point is quite steep, so it does feel like a significant investment. If you apply a generous amount to areas where you want that highlighter effect—like your cheekbones or bridge of your nose—and let it absorb before applying your base, the results are absolutely stunning!

Now PA++++ is standard (though back then 'City Smart' was the first to offer it). Elizabeth Arden always seems to create products with that "world's first" title. Irritation: None at all. When I use regular sunscreen (SPF50 PA+++) and spend time in the sun, my skin feels uncomfortable (my face gets red and puffy, or feels stinging, and blemishes start appearing around my cheekbones). But with 'City Smart,' I don't experience any of these issues, so I keep using it. No eye irritation whatsoever. Color: It's a beige shade, but it barely leaves any color residue when applied. No white cast. It doesn't wash off easily with sweat, so I use it regularly every summer. I even used it well when I traveled to Spain, the land of sunshine. Texture: It glides on smoothly and feels like a soft, lightweight emulsion. Scent: It's practically fragrance-free. 1. Expensive price When it first launched, I bought a 40ml bottle for about 89,000 won at Lotte Department Store's main branch. It was pricier than Lancôme's sunscreen, but I trusted it because it was the world's first PA++++ (with four plus signs). Why is the price so high? DNA Enzyme ComplexTM is designed to prevent DNA damage from photoaging. I can see noticeably calmer, more comfortable skin when I cleanse in the evening after applying it in the morning. During summer, I only use this product. 2. It can feel slightly drying for very dry skin or during seasons other than summer. (I don't notice the dryness in summer, but if you're sitting directly under air conditioning, it can feel drier.) So when I layer Ceramide Gold Capsules, then a hydrating cream, then City Smart on my face, I can completely eliminate any dryness. Must-have when going to the beach or traveling to sunny destinations. If you apply this and then use No. 21 cushion foundation, the color might not show as intended, so definitely test it before purchasing. Elizabeth Arden products are expensive at launch but gradually get discounted through promotions. However, this product doesn't go on sale. You can only get it during buy-one-get-one events at department stores. - sl***Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất31/05/2019 (UTC+0)
I've tried so many gentle sunscreens marketed for babies over the years, but I couldn't use sunscreen at all because my eyes were getting irritated. Since I've been using Eight Hour Cream for about 8 years, I decided to test their sunscreen too. When I applied it around my eyes, there was absolutely no irritation! That's why I only use this product now. Elizabeth Arden is known for frequently running promotions whenever you sign up for membership at department stores. This time I got the sunscreen in a buy-one-get-one deal and I'm still using it. I use other products from drugstores to save money, but for sunscreen and moisturizing cream, I stick with Elizabeth Arden. This is my holy grail sunscreen. It takes a while to absorb when you first apply it, and you might feel some oiliness. But once you layer foundation on top and head to work, by the time you arrive at the office, it sets beautifully and prevents your makeup from sliding off throughout the day. - cg***Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất26/05/2019 (UTC+0)
This sunscreen feels so hydrating and moisturizing. Sure, there's a bit of an oily feel to it, but honestly, that works for me. I've tried so many sunscreens that leave my skin feeling parched and tight, so this is actually a refreshing change. The application is incredibly smooth and even—it glides on like a dream. I've never used a sunscreen quite like this before. It contains ingredients you'd typically find in foundation, like iron oxides, so the liquid itself has this brownish-beige foundation vibe. But here's the thing—it doesn't provide foundation-level coverage, which I actually love. Even though I'm applying this brown-toned formula, it barely shows up on my skin, and that's exactly what I want. Since the formula itself is already tinted brown, there's zero white cast, which is fantastic. I was initially hesitant about the price and wanted to explore other options, but the application is so effortless, the color blends so naturally, and it takes barely any time to apply. It's made my makeup routine so much simpler that I'm seriously considering repurchasing. I do worry about using it every single day since some of the ingredients concern me, but I haven't found a sunscreen I like better yet, so I'll probably keep using it for now. The price is quite steep, which is disappointing.
