I prefer fragrance-free products, and while there's a slight scent, it doesn't smell like typical cosmetic fragrance, which I really appreciate. For a sunscreen, the shade is a bit darker than expected. Think of it more as a beige-toned BB cream color. Actually, the fact that it doesn't leave a white cast is kind of a plus, so it works out well. This one truly lives up to the Eucerin name with such an easy, comfortable feel when applying. It glides beautifully across my skin and adheres so smoothly that I felt comfortable wearing it all day long! As a brightening product, it applies so naturally that it doesn't look chalky or patchy like other brightening products can. Instead, it gives my complexion a naturally radiant, luminous boost. Since I have a darker skin tone, I usually can't wear lighter brightening products, but Eucerin's formula evens out my skin tone and actually makes my skin look better overall.
