To be honest, pore-targeting products really require consistent use to see even the slightest improvement, and it's true that skincare can't deliver results quite as dramatic as professional treatments. That said, while I'm not sure this product actually shrinks pores, I definitely noticed it tightens and refines them beautifully. This is from Dong-A Pharm's Partition brand, and their products are always so gentle. This one has zero irritation, feels soothing, and actually seems to have calming benefits too. The main reason I keep repurchasing despite the higher price point is honestly the texture of this cream—it's incredible. Seriously, just go to a store and test it yourself, please! The formula is hard to describe in words, but it's genuinely amazing. Since I have dry skin, I need to be extra thorough with my skincare routine starting from the transitional seasons, not just winter. When I use this with an essence, my skin stays hydrated all day and my makeup doesn't shift or flake. I tried using just the essence alone one day and my skin felt parched. Together they're absolutely perfect. The scent is barely noticeable too. The price is a bit steep, and I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types since it might trigger breakouts. That said, the formula and soothing effects are noticeable enough that it could work for some people. It should be fine for winter use.

Not suitable for oily skin - caused folliculitis I jumped at the chance to grab this at a great price. I've been absolutely loving the Pation body wash, so I was curious to try their other products. When I first applied it, the texture absorbed nicely and felt clean. But as time went on, my skin started getting slick, especially on my forehead and nose bridge. My cheeks felt irritated and itchy, and then folliculitis started appearing. I had to stop immediately and treat it. Wondering if it was just my skin reacting badly, I gave it another shot after some time. This time I didn't get folliculitis, but a breakout did pop up, and the excess oil buildup was just as bad as before. Way too much oil comes through. This is basically an oil party on my face. I'm so frustrated, and I'm sorry for the negative review. First, I have combination skin, and I tend to get excess oil specifically on my nose and the area between my eyebrows. Because of this, I've always struggled with texture and blackheads. A YouTuber I follow recommended this product, so I decided to try it, but honestly... I was completely disappointed. If I had to mention any positives, I'd say the absorption is decent, I guess? 1. Warming sensation - When I apply it based on my skin type, I feel a slight warming sensation coming up. 2. Minimal results - I'm not sure if there's any effect on pore improvement or anything like that. To be honest, compared to before I started using it, I don't think anything has improved at all. 3. Breakouts - This is the biggest reason I'm unsatisfied, and it's frustrating. When I use this product for more than a few days, I notice white bumps appearing noticeably on the area between my eyebrows. I bought this hoping to see results on texture and pores, but the outcome is disappointing. I guess the retinol ingredient just doesn't work for my skin. I'm really upset about this. If you're thinking about getting the purple line, I'd recommend the serum over the cream. The absorption and spreadability are excellent, and it doesn't feel overly greasy on oily skin. Just remember to use it sparingly for best results. It does nothing for pores and honestly feels just like a regular cream. Don't expect miracles with this one!
