I really don't like cleansers that leave my skin feeling tight and parched, but this one is amazing because there's no pulling sensation after washing. My skin feels so hydrated and nourished afterward. For a cleansing product, the price point is definitely on the higher side. That said, the product itself is absolutely fantastic.

My usual makeup removal routine involves applying cleansing water to a cotton pad, wiping it off, and finishing with a foam cleanser. (On days when I wear heavy eye makeup, I use a separate lip and eye remover.) I haven't used cleansing emulsions or cleansing oils very often because most products felt too slippery to me, and I disliked how long they took to rinse away. This product is a lightweight cleansing milk, and when I apply it to dry skin and massage it in, it melts away makeup incredibly gently without feeling oily. After massaging and wiping with a cotton pad, I've tried both regular cleansing and just rinsing with water, and even plain water rinses it away quickly, leaving my skin beautifully clean from everyday makeup. Unless I'm wearing chunky glitter or waterproof mascara, regular eyeshadow and mascara come off cleanly without needing a separate remover! What's amazing is how hydrated my skin feels after cleansing. There's no greasy residue, but my skin feels moisturized without any tightness, and my complexion feels smoother. After using it for three to four days straight, my skin texture looked refined, almost like I'd done an exfoliating treatment. I have a feeling I'll be reaching for this more often when fall and winter arrive. If you're already using emulsifying cleansers, this is an obvious recommendation, but even if you prefer the fresh feeling of water-based and foam cleansers like I do, this product is definitely worth trying! Especially on days when I apply foundation thickly, this milk-type cleanser removes it so much more gently and thoroughly than water-based options. I really love that. To be honest, when I first used it, I felt a bit disappointed. The scent wasn't what I was hoping for. One of the big reasons I love Pamu is that all their skincare products have such a luxurious fragrance. Using them feels really soothing and therapeutic. But this cleanser doesn't have that special floral or botanical scent I was expecting. (That said, it doesn't have a strong, generic cosmetic fragrance either.) However, as a cleanser itself, it definitely delivers that signature Pamu quality feeling.
