There's a slight thickness to it, and honestly, just using the toner alone makes dryness completely disappear! It absorbs beautifully too. I was hesitant about applying that expensive stem cell ampoule every single day, so I'm using this toner version instead, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I think this works wonderfully for all skin types! It's the perfect everyday toner - not too light, not too heavy. Since this one also contains stem cells, you can definitely notice a difference when you use it versus when you don't. My husband even switched to just this toner, and his skin has transformed noticeably. I really can't find any downsides! Fair warning though: this alone won't be your complete routine, so you'll still need to add a cream and essence to finish things off. But here's the thing—whenever I use heavier products, I always end up with a bit of buildup, so this is absolutely perfect for me. I'm writing this review after my first purchase last year and now making my second repurchase this year! I personally love hydrating toners, and while this has a similar vibe, I'd say it's more like a saliva toner - ha! It has this slightly sticky, clear texture that feels like you're coating your face with it, leaving your skin feeling plump and dewy with a gorgeous shine. The spreadability is better than I expected, and after applying it, my skin feels firmer with noticeably improved elasticity, which is why I'm repurchasing! The lightweight hydration level means no makeup pilling, so I've been using it morning and night without any issues. The absorption is excellent too. Since my skin is sensitive and on the thinner side, I've had problems with stem cell products causing irritation before, but this one worked beautifully without any trouble! If you have extremely dry skin, you might find the lightweight feel a bit disappointing. And if you're not a fan of that plump, tacky finish, it could feel a bit sticky for your preference! For me, applying it after microneedling and doing a light sheet mask works perfectly! Despite being labeled as a toner, this product actually feels more like a lightweight essence with a slightly gel-like texture. While it's designed to hydrate and prep your skin like a traditional toner would in your first step, the formula has a richer consistency and slight viscosity that might feel a bit heavy for oily skin types. That said, it absorbs reasonably well and does an excellent job of locking in moisture. The texture feels quite sticky. Personally, I don't usually mind tacky finishes and tend to overlook that kind of thing, but with this product, even after it absorbs, your face feels noticeably sticky. The stickiness becomes even more pronounced when you layer it multiple times, which makes it challenging to use repeatedly for addressing dehydrated skin. The photo was taken after shaking the product, and you'll notice the bubbles don't disappear instantly like they would with a watery toner. This is actually closer to an essence toner, so I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hydrating treatment in a generous size. I thought an ampoule toner would be a lightweight hydrating formula, but it's basically like getting a full-size ampoule! It's a rich, viscous toner that's fragrance-free and absolutely drenches your skin in moisture. No downsides at all. It feels like you're getting a full-size ampoule product, so the value for money is incredible.
