It's a toner, but it has a richer texture than you'd expect—somewhere between a traditional toner and an essence. The application is smooth and it feels so hydrating! When I layer it about three times, I can really feel my skin becoming plump and dewy. I wish the packaging came in a pump or spray bottle instead. This product is gentle and hydrating without any irritation. Since I have sensitive, allergy-prone skin, I've tried countless basic skincare products that claim to be mild, but I kept experiencing itching and redness. I finally found the perfect winter essential! If you struggle with dry skin underneath, you absolutely have to try pairing this with a cream. It might feel a bit heavy if you're looking for an all-season product. It's really more of a winter-specific base product.
