I'm really drawn to hydrogel masks, and honestly, I love them partly because of that bouncy, gel-like texture. Compared to other hydrogel masks, this one feels more elastic and packed with moisture, which is perfect for my sensitive skin. I can use it without any worry or irritation. Usually when I take out a mask, there's leftover essence pooled inside, but most hydrogel masks on the market seem to have less of that nourishing liquid than I'd like. I don't leave the mask on for more than 15 minutes because keeping it on too long can actually draw moisture away from your skin instead of adding it. After I remove the mask, I love using the remaining essence to treat the delicate skin on my neck and décolletage.

Because the formula is on the thicker side with more weight to it, it kept sliding down my face, which was a bit inconvenient.

I picked this up because everyone was raving about it, but honestly, I'm not seeing what all the fuss is about. It's just... fine. Nothing special. There's nothing really wrong with it, and the mask pack does the job well enough. After trying so many gel masks, this one truly stands out as the best. Gel masks have gotten surprisingly expensive lately, and I test out every new one that comes out. Honestly, this is the winner - it works amazingly and the price is actually fair. I really have no complaints. Even after wearing it all day, the moisture stays locked in and doesn't fade away. I absolutely love it! I don't have any complaints because this is my holy grail product. I'm just trying to meet the character minimum here. This mask feels really hydrating and absorbs beautifully into the skin. I notice the effects right away, and my makeup applies so much better after using it. I'm not sure about the soothing benefits, and it's a bit tricky to apply. That said, it has a nice lightweight feel that's easy to use. Overall: This mask is a bit of a mixed bag - some days it's just okay, and other days it's absolutely amazing. I actually got a recommendation for this product before purchasing through Hwahae, so I picked up two sheets from Olive Young. When I used the first sheet, I thought, "Everyone raves about this, but it's just... fine?" But then I waited a while and tried it again for the second time, and wow - it really delivered! My skin felt incredibly smooth, looked radiant, and I was honestly blown away. That's when I saw Hwahae was offering it at 50% off, so I grabbed it right away. But then the third use was just... meh again. I'm not sure what skin condition works best with this mask for optimal results (though using it is definitely better than skipping it). You absolutely have to apply the ampoule before using the mask - no exceptions. And after you remove the mask, you need to apply plenty more product. That's what makes the difference the next day. The results are completely different. So the bottom line is it works well, but you have to be willing to put in the extra effort, and that's just how it is. Also, this gel mask is slightly thinner than other gel masks, so be careful not to tear it with your nails. Only buy this when it's on sale for 50% off - seriously, don't pass up that deal. If there's no sale happening, just get something else instead.
