This product contains calamine powder, which is known to soothe irritated skin. When you shake it before use, the powder blends into a lovely pink color, and it removes makeup so gently and smoothly. I have sensitive, troubled skin, and I didn't experience any irritation when using this at all! I've been using this for about a month now! My skin gets maybe one major breakout a month, and it feels slightly dry. I applied a few drops to a cotton pad—about three drops per use—and went through roughly three pads per application. Since I usually just do a basic skincare routine and only occasionally add eyeshadow, deep cleansing power wasn't really a priority for me. What I was actually looking for was a product that could work as a standalone cleanser, so even on those exhausting days when I can't be bothered to wash my face, I could just use this and skip the extra cleansing step. I wanted to test whether it would irritate my eyes, so I decided to try this product that claims you don't need a separate cleanse afterward. Thankfully, my eyes don't feel irritated, and it removes makeup without being too stripping, so I've been happy using it. After cleansing, I haven't noticed any dryness. I bought this almost two months ago, but I've only been using it for about a month—there's a reason for that. When I first used it, I just cleansed with this product and then went straight to an exfoliating toner and cream. The next day, these blotchy, bumpy patches appeared on my skin—not quite like breakouts, but definitely something. So I used it a couple more times, then stopped for about a month before trying again. The second time around, I didn't get that reaction, so I kept using it. I'm not sure if other cleansing waters do this too, but this one leaves a slightly sticky residue after use. This makeup remover is so gentle and effective! It removes about 80% of my eye makeup too, which is amazing. But honestly, what I love most is the generous size at such an affordable price! That said, if you're not careful when cleansing around your lips and your tongue accidentally touches it, it stings like crazy. I mean, it really burns! I'm not sure if all cleansing waters are like this, but I usually stick with cleansing oil, so trying the water version for the first time was a shock. This was my very first makeup product purchase, and I'm so excited about it! I found it on sale at Olive Young for less than 10,000 won with such a generous amount, so I grabbed it right away! The cleansing power is really impressive. I know that shadows and glittery products usually need special makeup removers because they're hard to clean off, but this one? A few gentle swipes and the shadow just melts away! Since this is my first experience with a cleanser, I can't compare it to other brands, but considering that some cleansers have weaker formulas, this product's strong cleansing ability is definitely a major plus. Even when I do a thorough second cleanse, I notice that tender, pimple-like bumps appear on my cheeks, probably because of the product buildup. I'm not entirely sure if it's from this cleanser or other cosmetics, so I've made a second thorough cleanse part of my daily routine to be safe. There's so much product that I don't think I'll finish it all this year!
