I usually wear shade 17 with a light undertone, but I picked up shade 2. If you're typically a shade 17-19, I'd suggest going with shade 1 instead. Personally, I'm really happy with it. The coverage is pretty minimal, but here's the thing - our bare skin naturally has uneven tone, right? Dark circles, the area around the mouth, between the nose... those spots that need a little help. This product works like a concealer to even everything out, giving you a brighter, more uniform complexion overall. That's why I'm using it as my daily makeup or makeup primer. I absolutely love Pore's sheer powder foundation, and this applies with that same beautiful glide, but at a much better price point. After applying emulsion, I just swipe this on with my fingers like sunscreen and I'm done with makeup in one minute. I have a lot of redness, but this covers it so subtly that my skin looks like it's barely touched with makeup, completely natural-looking. No need for touch-ups throughout the day. It's so thin that it doesn't break down or shift. Zero pore clogging, and I can even apply it directly on my nose with my fingers. I was torn between shade 1 and 2, but shade 2 felt like it matched my bare skin tone or was even a shade darker. If you love that poreless, bright complexion look, I'd definitely go for shade 1! Formula: Just like the name suggests, this has a really fluid texture. When you shake it and squeeze it out like paint, it melts right into your skin. You do need to work quickly to blend it out and press it in though! I found that gently tapping it on with my fingers first, then quickly blending it with a sponge or brush worked best.
