I love that it's in coral, my favorite shade, though it's more of a muted coral rather than a bold one. The toned-down color works beautifully with natural makeup looks. Because it has that velvet finish, you really need to exfoliate your lips well before applying it. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the color turned out to be—it was even prettier than I imagined! After applying it, I love how soft and powdery it feels on my skin. I did notice some clumping during application, and honestly, it's just not my personal preference. I want to mention that it does tend to show up quite visibly, so keep that in mind. The color is absolutely stunning, and once you blot it with a tissue, it truly stays put. You can drink water without it staining your cup, eat with chopsticks without it transferring—it's honestly a game-changer. Out of over 30 lip products I've tried, this one has the best staying power by far. This shade leans quite bright with a vibrant coral-cherry red tone, so if you have a deeper or richer skin tone where bold lip colors don't complement you as well, I wouldn't recommend this one for you. Rather than dabbing it on and rubbing it around on your lips, try loading a bit less product from the stick and sweeping it smoothly across your entire lip from the inside out. I absolutely recommend this to everyone! When I apply this, people constantly ask me what I'm wearing because it looks so perfect on me. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and it's easy to wear every single day. It goes with literally every outfit I own. I'm already on my third tube! Please just try it once - I promise you'll love it. I'm not an employee, I'm just genuinely obsessed with this product. There's really nothing to complain about. The price is affordable, especially with all the promotions they run, and you get so much product that it lasts way longer than you'd expect. To be honest, it doesn't come off super easily, but that's actually fine because the color is so beautiful that I just keep layering it on. The formula is really similar to that mousse tint that Colorgram released for a bit! It feels a bit thicker, if that makes sense? Since it has quite a bit of an oily feel to it, people who are new to this type of formula might find it a little strange at first! The packaging is honestly so pretty! It's long and slim, which makes it super convenient to carry around. The scent is sweet, which I like, but it does feel a bit artificially sweet, if I'm being honest. As for the color payoff, I was really satisfied! I needed a tint with great color and minimal transfer since I play wind instruments at performances. I saw the ad and decided to give it a try. After applying it, I tested it with my instrument and was amazed at how little it transferred compared to other tints (my instrument usually gets stained red with other products!). Even after playing, so much color stayed put. For a coral shade, this kind of lasting power is seriously impressive. I'll share the application tips in the helpful tips section below! I'm honestly not sure if the color is pretty! I was expecting a salmon-coral tone, but when I apply it more heavily, it leans pretty pink on my skin. And this whole line seems to have a pink tone to it. But it's more like there's just a hint of pink rather than being completely pink-dominant. I wanted to attach swatches, but the real product looks so different from photos that I thought it would be more confusing to include them. Beyond the color issue, I also got this floating, unnatural feeling from it. When I looked in the mirror, it felt like something artificial was just sitting on top of my lips. Because of that, unless I really need the staying power, I'll probably use it very sparingly or mix it with other products. Take out a good amount from the tube at the opening, then apply it starting from the center of your lower and upper lips. Use the remaining small amount to fill in the lip line and inner edges, and you won't get any on your teeth while having better control over the amount! And if you want that color payoff and lasting power, you need to let it dry for at least 10 minutes (try to avoid moving your lips around too much during this time). This coral shade is so bright and fresh - it's absolutely perfect for spring outings when you're admiring the cherry blossoms! You can create such a beautiful look with it. First of all, the velvet texture itself is genuinely velvety—it applies so smoothly. And I have to admit, the color is really stunning. Everyone says the staying power is great, but honestly, I didn't notice that at all. I feel like I'm constantly reapplying this tint throughout the day. When will this endless cycle finally end? If you have dry lips, please make sure to apply a lip balm first before using this product! I always apply lip balm beforehand, and when I skip that step and apply it directly, it feels way too dry on my lips.
