This is a product I use all the time. The velvety texture feels amazing when I apply it, and the color stays put for hours. It's definitely become one of my go-to products. I really love how despite the rich, creamy texture, there's such a wide range of shades and finishes to choose from. Plus, the staying power is fantastic, so I find myself reaching for it all the time. There's nothing really to complain about, but I wish they'd come out with a more hydrating formula option too. Don't use it alone - layer it over a French beige base and it looks absolutely stunning. The lip photos show French beige underneath with Modern Chic on top. The staying power is incredible. Once you blot it with a tissue, it won't budge after that. You can eat and it stays put almost perfectly. To remove it, just dissolve it with a lip balm or wipe it away with cleansing water or oil. There's barely any flaking and it doesn't dry out your lips excessively. If you use it solo, the color is super saturated red with a slight pink undertone. It does leave a pink-red stain. Plus, there are allergy-triggering ingredients in the formula. I wish they'd remove them because buildup could be problematic. Honestly, it would work fine without them - I don't understand why they're included. Whether you go with French beige or any nude tone, start by applying it slightly beyond your natural lip line, then blot with a tissue. Apply Modern Chic in the center using a watercolor blending technique, and blot once more with a tissue. My absolute favorite shade from the Flin Addiction Velvet Tint collection! The perfect balance of pink and red undertones really shines through, and I love that it doesn't pull neon pink on the skin. Honestly, I do find myself getting a bit tired of wearing just this shade on its own after a while. I've noticed it looks so much prettier when I layer it over a deeper base tone rather than applying it solo. This tint looks absolutely gorgeous even when applied with a full lip coverage technique! The color payoff is absolutely gorgeous, and the texture is so clean and refined. This product is genuinely amazing! The color deposit is quite weak, which was disappointing. This is absolutely gorgeous! I have a cool undertone and it looks amazing on me. My friend has a warm undertone and the shade works beautifully on her too! The fragrance is really subtle and not overwhelming at all. I'm obsessed! If you apply this without exfoliating when you have flaky skin, the dry patches become super noticeable. The flakes stick to the tint and start peeling off, and the color fades quickly. It's frustrating! Make sure to exfoliate before applying! The color payoff is really intense, so you only need a tiny bit for great coverage. Apply it gradually in thin layers!

First off, the staying power is absolutely incredible. I've worn this and eaten all kinds of greasy foods like spicy rice cakes, fried chicken, and grilled offal, and while the color isn't quite as vibrant as right after application, the color payoff still looks beautiful! Plus, the formula is really rich and creamy, which I loved when applying it. The texture feels so luxurious and dense. If you have flaky or dry lips, you might notice the texture emphasizing any dry patches more than you'd like. That said, I'm completely satisfied with this product and have no complaints! Since this product has such excellent longevity, I actually apply it first and then layer another tint on top. The color payoff is excellent and the shade is absolutely beautiful. It's not a bright red though - it's more of a toned-down, muted red that feels really sophisticated. It transfers quite a bit, and when I apply it, there's this clumpy feeling that I'm not crazy about.
