My skin tone looks amazing with orange-red shades, and I've been disappointed so many times with other tints that claim to be orange-red but end up looking too pink or just off. This one is genuinely beautiful. The color payoff is fantastic, and it has great staying power—my lips still have that gorgeous tint hours later. It's also nicely moisturizing, so when I apply it with a lip balm, I get that perfect glossy, dewy lip look. The color stain is pretty strong, so even after I wipe it off, some color remains and feels a bit sticky. I need to make sure I cleanse thoroughly to remove it completely. The color is absolutely gorgeous! I'm not totally sure about the pearl finish, but it seems like the perfect spring bright lip shade for me The uneven patches are really noticeable when it fades! Color - This is a beautiful coral-red shade with the perfect blend of red and orange tones. It looks absolutely stunning on warm undertones! Application - The formula glides on so smoothly and feels incredibly moisturizing. Quantity - I love that you get plenty of product for the price. No Transfer - Best part is there's zero smudging or transfer throughout the day. Repurchase - I'm on my fifth bottle now, and this is officially my holy grail product! Packaging - The container is quite tall, so it doesn't fit in my small pouches, and it doesn't feel as luxurious as I'd hoped. Application on Upper Lip - Like most tints, this one can be tricky to apply evenly on the upper lip. I used to have issues with leaking, but it seems they redesigned the packaging because it doesn't leak anymore. The color is absolutely gorgeous! I have a deeper skin tone, and this shade is a perfect match for me. After applying it, I let it set for a moment, then gently blot with a tissue a few times. The result is minimal transfer and smudging. The color tends to fade unevenly throughout the day. Given my job requires me to talk constantly and drink water frequently, some fading is inevitable. What's frustrating is that while it fades in patches, the remaining color stays put for quite a while. I don't typically do touch-ups, and it held up reasonably well from morning until around 8 PM (though it does fade more noticeably after eating). The biggest issue for me, though, started about a week into using this product. My lips began feeling itchy, and I noticed a couple of small blisters forming on my lower lip. I hadn't used any other lip products, not even a lip balm, and everything else in my routine was my usual go-to. Despite noticing the irritation, I kept using it for a few more days, and the blisters grew larger and spread to the sides of my lips. While my skin can be sensitive sometimes, I've never experienced a reaction like this from a lip product before, so I was really alarmed. I stopped using it around day ten. Since then, my lips have been struggling. The blisters have cleared, but I'm dealing with persistent itching, weeping, extreme dryness that feels like my lips might crack, endless flaking, and what looks like mysterious hives on the surface of both lips that seem to flare up whenever my condition worsens. This water tint from Flin is absolutely everywhere on social media right now, and it's even stocked at Lala Bla! I tried the Joy shade, and I have to say the staying power and color payoff are incredible. The color applies so quickly that you really need to blend it fast on your lips to get an even finish.
