The pad has different thicknesses and textures on each side, which makes it perfect for cleansing your face. My eyes feel really irritated and stingy. Since it's hard to avoid getting product near the eye area, it's unavoidable. Vegan Cleansing Pads Exfoliation-tested product Improved hydration with oil cleansing pads I picked up these cleansing pads on sale for around 16,000 won. I was curious about trying them since I usually use cleansing water with cotton pads, so I decided to give these a shot. I really love how the lid has a built-in tweezer holder in the middle cover! Cleansing Power In the photo, I'm wearing foundation, eyeshadow, pencil eyeliner, and Kissme mascara, and I just swiped once without pressing hard. The makeup on my face comes off cleanly in one go, and my skin feels like the dead skin is being gently removed too. I always do a double cleanse, and these pads do a pretty thorough job in the first step, but I do notice a tiny bit of residue when I wipe my entire face with just one pad front and back. After using this pad first, I finish with another cleansing water on a cotton pad, and a little bit of makeup still comes off. For sunscreen or base makeup alone, one pad should be enough. Usage Experience The pads are generously sized and thick, so you can use both sides (the textured side and the smooth side). The texture is somewhere between a water and oil-based cleanser. After wiping, my skin feels incredibly soft. Even though these are cleansing pads with an oily formula, they don't leave my skin feeling dry at all. The bottom of the container keeps popping off, and the middle cover and outer lid don't close tightly. This is definitely a powerful cleanser. 2. Formula I'm extremely cautious about my skin, treating each new product like a test subject. Even with products labeled as gentle, my face typically gets red and blotchy. I approached this one with the same caution, but surprisingly, there was no redness at all. Instead, after using it, my skin felt hydrated and exfoliated, leaving my complexion smooth and radiant. I'm definitely repurchasing this. 3. Scent The product isn't fragrance-free, but has a very subtle, fresh scent. Those who enjoy fresh fragrances will appreciate it. It's becoming drier over time, but I still can't ignore the oiliness in my T-zone. Because of this, I avoid products that are too heavy with oils since they trigger breakouts on my skin. What Works Well for Me Tea tree, centella asiatica, and hyaluronic acid seem to be the right fit for my skin. I'm using all three consistently and regularly. I occasionally add brightening products to my routine too! What I Avoid I personally steer clear of shea butter, citric acid, and pore-clogging ingredients like acids. Whenever these are included, I end up with small bumps or inflammatory acne. This is just my personal experience, so please make your own informed decision when purchasing! Moisture Level: 5 out of 5 It's incredibly hydrating! After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight—it feels clean and refreshed. While I don't stop my skincare routine after using just this, I noticed my face didn't feel dry even after walking around for a bit afterward. Oil Control: 5 out of 5 The original cleansing tissue formula felt too oily and heavy on my skin. When I used it while traveling, my skin would feel uncomfortable afterward. But this product doesn't have that problem at all! I'm really happy with it. Skin Texture: 4.5 out of 5 I loved that this is a gentle formula! Other cleansing tissues can feel rough or even painful on my skin, but this one is much gentler. However, on days when my skin is extra sensitive, I occasionally feel a slight sting, so I'm deducting half a point for that. Breakouts and Ingredients: 5 out of 5 The formula is clean, and while it does contain fragrance, it's not bothersome for me. Of course, personal preferences vary! Packaging and Price: 4 out of 5 The main container is quite difficult to carry around, but I appreciated that a travel-size version was included. However, the travel size comes with only 2 sheets, which feels like too few. The price is a bit high in my opinion. The pads are large, which is nice, but I think I'd prefer smaller pads with a larger quantity. I'd definitely consider purchasing if there's even a small discount available. The only concerns are the fragrance in the formula and a couple of other minor issues. Otherwise, everything is great! The travel-size version has too much moisture. I think it would be better with slightly less liquid. I took photos after getting my lashes extended, so I didn't show how the product removes mascara after cleansing. But when I apply a bit of mascara, fold the pad, and gently wipe, it removes the mascara quite well! While it's not as versatile as a dedicated lip and eye remover, compared to other tissues or water-based cleansers, I'm satisfied with how effectively it removes makeup.
