I remember traveling through Europe in 2018, and I stopped at dm, this German drugstore that's kind of like Olive Young. Anyway, I'd forgotten my hair essence that day, and my hair was already a total mess. I was browsing at dm when I decided to test this product on a whim, and I was absolutely blown away! I was so impressed that I bought three bottles before leaving Germany! First of all, your hair becomes incredibly soft and smooth! I used to love L'Oreal Rose products, but I noticed my hair would get weighed down and greasy by evening. This one? It doesn't do that at all! I used to think L'Oreal and Silk Therapy were the best, but now I've completely switched over to this! The scent is kind of like that essence they apply at the end when you leave a salon? It's subtle and sophisticated, and honestly, it makes you feel like you're using a premium product from a professional salon. You know that feeling? Sometimes when I go out after using it, my mom asks me what perfume I'm wearing! Haha! Seriously, I love this so much and I really recommend it! Especially if you've had your hair bleached or color-treated, hair care can be such a hassle. Just apply this before you head out, and you'll experience a completely different level of hair quality! This fragrance has such a unique scent! Honestly, I was totally surprised by how many people complimented me on it when I wore it—they kept asking what perfume I was using. The scent isn't overpowering, but it has this wonderfully fresh and crisp quality that's really subtle. Two people have actually suggested I skip perfume altogether and just use this instead. It seems like anyone who loves cool, neutral fragrances absolutely adores this one! I used this as a hair oil, and while it actually works really well, that's not why I'm recommending it. It was a gift, so I've been using it happily! The thing is, it does deliver results—it's not completely ineffective. But after checking the ingredient list, I have to dock it a star. I'm a bit disappointed about that.

I have severely damaged, bleached hair, but it works wonderfully for me too. I typically pump it 5 to 6 times per application, and it never feels heavy—it's absolutely fantastic. There's not much to complain about, honestly. The only minor issue is that the bottle shape makes it a bit awkward to grip and pump. I've found a workaround by twisting the pump slightly to make it easier to use. I finished one bottle over the course of a year. I didn't use it every day, just when my hair looked a bit frizzy or dull. It wasn't bad at all. I was really shocked when I checked the ingredients. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this product.

Even though it's an oil, it doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy or weighed down after application. When I use it on my damaged hair, I can really feel how much softer and smoother it becomes. It contains quite a few allergenic ingredients, so I make sure to wash my hands thoroughly after using it.
