I only recently started paying attention to ingredients because of my pregnancy. I chose this product because it's free from harmful substances and allergen-triggering components. When using the cleansing water with your hands instead of a cotton pad, you need to use more product and rub vigorously to create lather. When rinsing with water, it doesn't feel squeaky clean—honestly, I wasn't sure if it was actually cleansing properly. But when I tried wiping with a cotton pad, it seemed to remove light makeup quite well. So gentle! I have sensitive, troubled skin and this doesn't irritate it at all. Bioderma is great too, but this one feels cleaner and more refined somehow? I have acne-prone and sensitive skin, but this product doesn't irritate it at all. My breakouts haven't gotten worse, and my skin feels noticeably calmer! I've tried many cleansing waters, and this one is by far the gentlest. If you wear heavy makeup, you might find the cleansing power a bit weak. I'm really happy with how much value I'm getting for the price, and I've been using this for years now. The cleansing power is excellent, and my skin feels fresh and clean after every use. This wiping toner is just the right consistency, and I love mixing it with jojoba oil to use as a cleanser. It has excellent cleansing power and leaves my skin feeling beautifully clean. It does produce quite a bit of foam, and while the instructions say you don't need to rinse with water, I find myself rinsing it off with water anyway after using it.

I love how gentle this is on my skin with zero irritation, so I've gone through two bottles already. During summer, I even use it to remove my daughter's sunscreen after her outdoor activities. The mascara doesn't come off easily, so I find myself rubbing my eyes repeatedly, which isn't ideal. I really love how fresh and clean this oil-control cleansing water feels on my skin. I was so frustrated with all those bumpy texture issues and stubborn breakouts that wouldn't go away, even after exfoliating. My makeup kept sliding off and honestly, I dreaded touching my own face every time I washed it. But after using this cleansing water for just a few days, my skin transformed into this beautifully smooth and refined texture that I'm actually happy with now. It doesn't work as well on eye makeup or heavy-duty waterproof mascaras.
