I was supposed to write this within 20 days, but I've been using it for an extra 5 days to give you a truly honest assessment. I was previously using 3CE products, but this formula is so much easier to apply. Once I apply the product and layer on foundation, the pore coverage is nearly flawless. I have some scarring on my face that looks like pitted skin, but it's so well-covered that you wouldn't notice it unless you looked really closely. Seriously impressive! I also work shift work where I'm on my feet for 24 hours straight, and even before the oil starts to build up, after my morning cleanse and basic skincare routine, I apply this and head out—and I notice way less oil throughout the day. This is perfect for guys who aren't confident with makeup application. You do need to control the amount you use, but it's not difficult at all. I'm really happy with it. I do feel like my skin gets a bit congested, but I think that's just an unavoidable characteristic of pore-covering formulas like this one.

Effectiveness: I have naturally warm skin with a dry complexion, and since this product has a slightly mattifying texture, my sunscreen and BB cream would sometimes look patchy on top. After building a solid skincare base first, the patchiness was less noticeable, but the staying power didn't last all the way through the evening. Fragrance: It has a fresh, slightly herbal scent. Since I apply such a small amount, the fragrance isn't bothersome. (Personally, I actually prefer products with a scent as long as it's not harmful to my skin!) 1. Since I'm still wearing a mask throughout the day, I wish the product had longer-lasting wear. (Though honestly, the mask is the real culprit here... I'm just hoping we can all stop wearing them soon!) 2. When I really think about it, there weren't any major complaints while using it! Toner, serum, emulsion—keep it hydrating! I haven't used it for a super long time, so my thoughts are pretty subjective and might not be totally accurate, but here's what I personally think! 1. The coverage lives up to its name. The product does what it promises - it covers pores pretty well. I use just a tiny amount, and after cleansing my face thoroughly, I apply a little to my T-zone where I want to hide pores. Personally, it blurs them nicely without looking obvious. 2. The small dispenser makes it perfect for targeting specific areas and pores. The narrow opening means I can control how much I use, which is really convenient. Sure, if I had a lot of areas to cover it might be tedious, but honestly it wasn't a big deal for me. 3. My skin didn't react negatively at all. Since I have sensitive skin, I'm usually careful about checking ingredients, but this product didn't trigger any sensitivity issues. That's why I was able to use it comfortably, even if not for an extended period. These are just my personal thoughts! 1. The ingredients could be better. While I didn't have any negative reactions, the ingredient list isn't something I'd feel totally confident using long-term. Especially for people like me with eczema-prone or sensitive skin, you really have to scrutinize what's in a pore-covering product. 2. The amount doesn't match the price. Since this is meant for pore coverage and most people don't use a lot at once, if you need significant coverage, you'll go through it pretty quickly. So honestly, the price doesn't feel like great value if you're using it regularly. 3. I'm not really sure what the actual effect is. I found it hard to understand how the coverage actually works. Is it just sitting on top and hiding pores? Or is there some benefit my skin is actually getting? It's hard to tell the difference after using it. I'm not an expert, so maybe that's on me, but I didn't see an obvious visible effect that would make users really want to buy it. The product works better when you cleanse thoroughly first and apply your basic skincare routine before using it. Here's my skin type so you can use it as a reference for this review. ◻︎ Winter - After cleansing, my skin feels dry with just toner - But then later in the afternoon or evening, I get oily - I pay attention to moisturizing not just my face but my whole body ◻︎ Summer - After cleansing, when I apply toner, emulsion, and cream, it feels heavy - Because of this, I sometimes get breakouts - I have combination skin - So I only use cream before bed for my nighttime skincare routine This is my review after using the product for 2 weeks following delivery. I used it twice daily - morning and midday - and applied the cover cream under and over my mask when going out. Let me share the key features I noticed after 2 weeks of use :D Using the Gatsby T-Zone Pore Cover Cream, I found three main things that really stood out for me :D • Hydration • Gentle formula • Quick absorption (fresh finish) Since my face gets dry right after cleansing but becomes oily as time passes, I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to toners and emulsions. Because of this, I prefer lightweight toners and emulsions that don't leave a sticky residue. I used this product after my basic cleansing routine and toner-emulsion, applying it last to my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin separately. At first, I was a bit worried that the hydration might affect my oil balance. But after a moment, the stickiness disappeared and I could feel just the right amount of moisture! ◻︎ Texture This product applies really smoothly - at first it felt hydrating But it doesn't stay wet for long and gradually becomes powdery! I'd say it has a nice matte finish :D It's lighter than BB cream, so it doesn't feel heavy on my skin and I was more satisfied with it than other primers With BB cream, it used to clump in my pores, but with this product my skin tone evens out nicely and it's so convenient! Plus, it washes off easily with my regular cleansing foam - no hassle at all. It feels like applying regular BB cream so a simple cleansing foam does the job In my case, I used to avoid BB cream because of how sticky and suffocating it felt on my skin, but this product is definitely more matte and less oily, so it's great to use on its own without BB cream! ◻︎ Scent Hmm, I could pick up citrus notes or a very subtle herbal scent! There's nothing particularly bothersome about the fragrance, and it's barely noticeable after a while of wearing it. Oh, there's a subtle scent similar to BB cream, but it's not something I'd worry about You only notice it if you really focus on smelling it, and there's no particular discomfort from the scent while using it :D If you're not super sensitive to fragrance, you won't find it bothersome! ◻︎ Coverage As you can tell from the product name 'Pore Cover Cream,' this product has primer functions, and for male users, while it doesn't completely fill in pores, you'll definitely feel a smoother finish when applying BB cream! At first I thought it brightened my skin more than expected, but after using it a few times, I noticed it balances out to match my natural skin tone after a bit - it gives a nice brightening effect :D It definitely helps even out your complexion effortlessly! In my case, after lunch I notice a bit of shine on my T-zone, but when I apply this product, it noticeably improves - it works great The smooth application is an advantage because you can use it alone more conveniently than BB cream :D Everything else was fine, but it seemed to transfer a bit from my nose area because of the mask. If you blot it lightly with blotting paper after applying, you won't have to worry as much about the mask. I didn't experience any breakouts, and sometimes I felt a slight tingling sensation after applying, but I wouldn't say it was because of the product :D Amount control is important! Make sure you've given your skin enough hydration first, then apply this product thinly. Since it's already quite hydrating, instead of applying a lot at once, I used it carefully by starting with my T-zone and gradually expanding to other areas. I mainly used it on my cheeks and forehead, and for any sunken areas on my skin, try using a sponge applicator - it applies more naturally. It also does a great job preventing that dull, oily complexion I normally get. I've even cut back on how much blotting paper I use throughout the day. • My pores look noticeably smaller. Compared to when I don't use anything, the pores definitely appear more refined. • The pore coverage could be better. I was hoping for more dramatic pore blurring, but it doesn't quite deliver that. That said, if you layer it with a BB cream or similar product, you can get the coverage you're looking for. • Use just a tiny amount—about the size of a grain of rice. And please don't rub it in too hard. The brightening effect is great, but the pore coverage could be better. I wish the coverage had a bit more staying power and blending capability.
