The hold is so strong that I think I could use this instead of a spray It dries too quickly on my hands when I'm applying it, which makes it a bit tricky to use

After getting a perm, apply this to damp hair instead of a curl cream and run your fingers through it loosely for better-defined curls. You can mix in a little water if needed. Despite its name, it doesn't provide super-strong hold. Use on damp hair.
