This is a strong-hold wax that really locks down flyaways and shorter strands. It gives your hair a less clumpy, more polished appearance. It doesn't quite do enough to smooth over frizzy hair. You can manage flyaways and a few stray strands, but that's about it.

It has just the right texture—not too heavy, not too light—which is perfect. On days when I can't be bothered styling my hair, I just take a little bit of wax, run my fingers through, and flip my hair back effortlessly. It gives me a polished look without any clumping. Honestly, there's nothing disappointing about it. I really mean that! I'm already on my third tube. Even in summer, it doesn't melt easily, which is great. The essential hair wax everyone should have!

I alternate between this and the pink one, and I love them both. When it comes to wax, Gatsby is definitely the way to go. The container requires you to scoop out the product, which is a bit inconvenient, but I'm satisfied with the wax itself.

This wax is absolutely the one to get. It applies beautifully with a matte finish and I'm really happy with it. I honestly can't think of anything I'd change about it. If you're looking for a glossy shine instead, you might want to try something else.
