Advantages 1. Luxurious Color This deep wine-red shade is absolutely stunning and feels perfect for fall and winter looks. When you use it as a statement lip for special occasions, it gives off such an elegant, sophisticated vibe. 2. Case and Packaging The leather-textured case feels premium and luxurious, making it look like a thoughtful gift. It's really impressive from a presentation standpoint. 3. Application and Wear The creamy formula glides on beautifully, and the way it adheres to your lips is incredible. Your first application feels silky smooth, and as you layer it on, the color becomes richer and more intense. Disadvantages 1. Can Feel Overwhelming on Warm Undertones Grenee 37 is a deep burgundy shade that really flatters cool undertones more. On my warm-toned skin, the color just seems to float on my lips without blending naturally. Because of this, I tend to save it for special occasions and mix it with other lip colors rather than wearing it as an everyday shade. 2. Not Ideal for Textured Lips Since this has a matte finish, it can emphasize dry patches and fine lines. If your lips aren't perfectly smooth, this formula will highlight those imperfections. 3. Feels Heavy with Multiple Layers When you build up the color with several coats, your lips start to feel sticky and weighed down. Helpful Tips 1. Lip Balm is Essential Before applying the color, make sure to apply a generous amount of lip balm to smooth out your lip surface. Skip this step and the matte texture will really emphasize any dry patches, so don't skip it! 2. Try a Gradient Effect Instead of going for a full lip look, applying it as a gradient or ombre lip looks so much more natural and wearable. 3. Use a Lip Brush Using a lip brush makes it so much easier to control how much product you're applying and helps you blend the edges seamlessly for a softer finish. - cl*************Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmQuầng thâm mắtMẩn đỏTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất18/09/2022 (UTC+0)
I have a cool summer undertone with a skin tone depth of 21. This product lives up to its name with a beautifully velvety, matte finish both when applied to the lips and in the formula itself. The scent is pleasant and reminds me of a high-end department store fragrance, so it doesn't feel off-putting at all. Given its matte texture, it works wonderfully as an accent for a matte makeup look. I think it would be even more stunning on those with a cool winter undertone who are a bit older than me, especially during the winter months. I noticed no creasing or emphasized dry patches whatsoever. I can't really think of any major drawbacks, but if I had to pick something, the price point is definitely on the higher side. The formula does transfer quite a bit, so you'll need to blot frequently with tissues to keep it looking fresh. - ju*******Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmĐược đề xuất23/08/2022 (UTC+0)
The exfoliation isn't too noticeable, and it has no scent. The color is such a vibrant red that I only need to apply it to my lower lip and a little blending does the trick! The designs are all similar, but since the exterior has a velvet finish, it feels like something you'd only want to carry around during winter. I personally wear deeper shades even in summer though If you're dealing with noticeable flaking, try removing any dry skin from your lips the night before, apply a generous layer of lip balm, and then apply the color the next day. (It's a great idea to prep your lips the night before an important event!) - wl*******Da khôDa mụnĐược đề xuất04/05/2022 (UTC+0)
Velvet through and through. The case is velvet, the formula is velvet. This cool-toned red has blue undertones with hints of deep plum and burgundy. The color is so rich and pigmented that a little goes a long way, which is exactly what I prefer. The soft, powdery texture applies beautifully and barely shows any dry patches. The staying power is impressive, and I absolutely love the scent. The lid completely covers the tube, which makes it a bit awkward to open. - sk****Da khôLàm sáng da / Đốm thâmKhô từ bên trongNếp nhăn / Độ đàn hồiĐược đề xuất24/03/2021 (UTC+0)
The application is smooth, the color payoff is vibrant, and I love that it has a matte finish without feeling dry. The color shows up exactly as you see it in one swipe, and it feels incredibly lightweight—almost like you're barely wearing anything. The quality is really impressive, and there's barely any scent to it either. For the Rouge Grenat editorial shade, I was expecting a deeper, slightly brownish-red with some weight to it, but it leans more toward a dark burgundy—definitely a heavier tone overall. I was hoping for that bold, slightly brownish-red intensity, but what I got is more of a settled, deep burgundy feeling—quite a heavy color. It's more of a fall and winter vibe than spring and summer. The pigmentation actually reads as a fresh pink, so if the true color feels too heavy and you're hesitant to wear it, you can use a gradient technique or blot it with a tissue to sheer out the color a bit. That way, you can get a brighter, lighter look that's more wearable. I definitely swatched it on my hand and checked the color before buying, but when I put it on my lips, it wasn't the shade I expected—a little disappointing. The color is absolutely stunning, I almost feel too precious using it. I find myself applying it sparingly every day. The velvet case is gorgeous too, which makes this lipstick even more special and beautiful. What can I say? I'm hesitant to use it because it feels too nice, and aside from the price tag being a bit steep, everything else about it is wonderful.

It's not a classic red—it's more of a red with just a hint of pink mixed in, and the gradient effect is gorgeous. The full color payoff is absolutely incredible. The case is beautiful too, and I'd definitely give it an extra star. Unlike my previous lipsticks that felt moisturizing or creamy, this one has a matte, powdery finish. That's exactly why this shade and texture work so beautifully together! My skin tone has deep undertones, so deeper shades really suit me. Because of that, I find this color works better for me than anything with orange in it. When I layer it multiple times, the color becomes much deeper and richer, and the formula really delivers that luxurious velvet feel. Since it's a department store product, the price is a bit steep. Also, you really need to make sure your lips are well-exfoliated before applying it. Make sure to exfoliate your lips thoroughly before applying. That way, you'll get the full velvet texture and deep color payoff this lipstick is meant to deliver. This is my go-to lip color for fall and winter.
