(Winter might be tricky though—you'd really need to prioritize hydration or switch to a different cushion since it could feel dry.) - The design has a luxe feel to it, which makes sense for a department store cushion. (Though I'll admit, sometimes it reminds me of what my mom would use!) - It pairs beautifully with most basic skincare routines. (I have oily, combination skin myself!) - The wear time is solid compared to other cushions, though realistically, if you're wearing it from morning to evening, some breakdown is inevitable. If that bothers you, a liquid foundation might be a better choice. - It doesn't completely blur every pore, but the pore coverage is actually pretty impressive! - It works nicely with MAC Fix+ powder, which helps extend wear time. - You can definitely maximize longevity and staying power by using it with a setting spray, but keep in mind that layering this much product isn't ideal for your skin, so use it wisely. - The puff is on the smaller side. While the heart design is cute, it's not very practical. I tried using a Daiso puff, but it didn't fit the case, so I'm still hunting for a compatible cushion puff. - The puff gets dirty quickly in summer, so you'll need to wash it regularly. - Like most cushions, it's hard to tell when you've used it all up. Even when it seems empty, pressing harder releases more product, so it's tough to gauge how much is left. - The fragrance is pretty strong at first—it has that distinct makeup scent—so I needed time to adjust to it. - There are multiple shades available, but the color can look different on screen versus in person, so I'd really recommend checking it in-store before buying. For me, it sometimes reads darker than my actual shade, so I'm wondering if I picked the wrong depth. If you want even better pore coverage, I'd suggest using a primer alongside this cushion. Apply a small amount of primer, wait a moment for it to set, then apply the cushion on top—this really maximizes pore blurring. - la*****Da hỗn hợpDa nhạy cảmDa mụnĐược đề xuất22/05/2025 (UTC+0)
I'm a skincare base enthusiast, and I'm here to share my honest thoughts on this cushion foundation because it's truly exceptional. Why? Because this product is absolutely incredible. I'm going to give you my genuine, unfiltered take and break down the key benefits in a straightforward way. First, let me talk about the most important thing - the shade! This is a bright ivory tone with minimal yellow undertones, which is fantastic. If you typically wear shade 21 and find that most products have too much yellow, I highly recommend this one. 1. Skin Finish - This is mind-blowing. This cushion is the textbook definition of semi-matte perfection. There's nothing else to say - it's simply semi-matte done right. It's not too matte, not too dewy, just perfectly balanced. The finish feels powdery and refined without any dryness whatsoever. In fact, your skin feels incredibly comfortable after application. It's the gold standard of semi-matte finishes. When you apply it, your skin looks like it has a beautiful, flour-like finish - and I mean that in the best way possible. 2. Longevity - The staying power is absolutely insane. I can't believe how long this lasts without feeling dry. I honestly don't know how they formulated this, but there's zero darkening throughout the day. I've never experienced any color shift while wearing this. Sure, it fades a bit after eating or wiping your nose, but the initial wear time is exceptional. This is hands down the best cushion I've ever used in terms of longevity. 3. Adhesion - This is incredible. The moment you tap it on, it clings to your skin perfectly. You barely need to blend it before it sets beautifully. Honestly, why would I buy another cushion and spend time blending when I could just invest in this one? I've tried expensive cushions before, but this is the first one that's actually made me want to write a review. I wouldn't recommend this for very dry skin types since it is semi-matte. However, if you've been using semi-matte finishes and you're looking for superior longevity, flawless adhesion, and that perfect skin-like finish, then I absolutely recommend this product. 1. The Cushion Puff - The built-in puff is heart-shaped, which is cute, but why is it so thin? It absorbs way too much product. They created this amazing formula and then paired it with such a flimsy puff. I ended up replacing mine right away. 2. Product Consistency - I know this seems like an odd complaint after all that praise, but here's the thing: the formula is so perfect that it's actually hard to get product out of the cushion. Whether it's the puff or the formula itself, you really have to press down firmly to get enough product to dispense. Sometimes it's unclear whether you've used it all or not. And this happens repeatedly, not just once or twice. 3. Pore Coverage on the Nose - If you have enlarged pores around your nose area, this semi-matte finish might emphasize them slightly. Just a heads up about that. Despite these three drawbacks, the benefits are so exceptional that I'm still giving this a full five stars. If you're someone who travels frequently or you're willing to invest in a department store product, I strongly recommend this cushion. - sh*******Da thiếu nướcDa nhạy cảmDa mụnBã nhờn / Mụn đầu đenKhô từ bên trongLỗ chân lông toMẩn đỏTế bào da chếtĐược đề xuất09/11/2024 (UTC+0)
I have allergic contact dermatitis with pustular, congested skin The ingredients didn't look great at first, so I only bought a refill to test it out, but I ended up getting the full product. Even though it contains stearic acid, dimethicone, PEG, and everything else, I was surprised to find no itching, stinging, or breakouts. Whether you apply it with a spatula or tap it on with the puff, it's easy to use and creates a thin, seamless finish that covers pores beautifully. It's a cushion, but it has the adhesion of a powder foundation—seriously impressive. There's minimal base transfer or patchiness. The heart-shaped puff is perfect for the under-eye and cheekbone areas, making application convenient, while the pointed bottom part works great for blending along the sides of the nose. In areas where oil builds up heavily over time, like the tip of the nose or forehead, the base itself seems to melt away. In other words, there's no messy clumping around texture, no breakdown, and no pore-clogging pilling! Even though it's not an overly dewy formula, it surprisingly blends seamlessly when you tap it on casually, with no separation or visible edges—it's really impressive. When I apply a thin layer and do touch-ups throughout the day, it still looks presentable even at dawn after 17 hours. I really dislike when base gets stuck in pores looking chalky and then breaks down, so I was very satisfied that this didn't happen. The cheekbone and forehead areas stayed put without lifting (though on days when I'm particularly flaky, there's only so much any product can do), and even my chin with its stubborn whiteheads and the area between my brows maintained good coverage without emphasizing excess oil. The nasolabial fold creasing is my wrinkle issue, so it's unavoidable no matter what base I use, but this cushion was the least noticeable among all the ones I've tried. If I gently blend it out with the puff in the morning, it looks fine. The same brand's Tint Couture has a formula like powder mixed with water, and when you tap it on your face, it sets immediately like ink, so for people like me who have lots of pores and dry patches and prefer a formula that spreads easily, I'd recommend this product more. Since I have a lot of redness and red acne scars, using a pink base makes my skin look inflamed, but the N95 shade is a beige tone that neutralizes redness really well and matches my natural skin tone perfectly. It does have a slightly yellow undertone, but compared to NARS' yellow base (which feels really yellow...), it's not dull or muddy, so it works fine for me. My skin tone is around 21.5-22, and since I prefer a more neutral base to even out my uneven, patchy complexion, I'm happy with this color. It's a bit of a shame that it doesn't have quite as much luminosity as I'd like, but it looks natural without any floating or separation from my neck. When I finish with a brighter powder, it gives just the right amount of radiance without being overdone. It doesn't feel like heavy, obvious makeup coverage, but the coverage is medium to medium-high, so I can wear it without concealer. The skin finish is somewhere between semi-matte and semi-dewy. I avoid products that are too matte because they emphasize texture and pores, and I dislike overly dewy products because they're not ideal for oily skin, so this middle ground was exactly what I was looking for. The case is difficult to purchase separately. The design might be polarizing at first, but it grows on you the more you look at it. You might feel some inner dryness. I'd recommend this for oily and combination skin looking for a product with moderate inner glow! Occasionally when my skin is acting up, I get a couple of breakouts. The case and refill are compatible with this brand's Tint Couture cushion. When I use it alone without primer or setting spray, the pore coverage actually stays better and the skin finish looks even more beautiful. - rl*********Da khôKhô từ bên trongĐược đề xuất05/11/2024 (UTC+0)
1. Skin texture looks refined - Since this is a hydrating formula, the skin texture really does look smoother. There's absolutely no sign of dry patches or flaking. 2. Hydration - It definitely delivers moisture. Though I'll admit, after spending long hours in the office, it does start to feel a bit dry by the end of the day, but that's just the reality when you have very dry skin like mine. 3. Easy to blend and spread - Like most hydrating cushions, this one applies smoothly without any hassle. I've tried the Dior cushion recently and have used Laneige before, and I can honestly say this one blends beautifully without getting patchy or clumpy. 4. Medium coverage (in my opinion) - One layer feels a bit sheer, but when you apply it twice, you get surprisingly good coverage while still keeping that lightweight feel. 1. Longevity - After 8 hours in the office, it's basically gone. The good news is it doesn't break down messily—it just fades away. Still, I find myself touching up quite a bit. 2. Adhesion - While it's easy to apply, the staying power isn't quite as strong as I'd like. It transfers onto my hands pretty easily. 3. That other semi-matte cushion from the same brand - I can't remember the exact name, but honestly, that one seemed to hold up better throughout the day without that inner dryness issue. Overall, I'd still recommend it. I'm happy with it. The shade is great too! I'm a cool tone with a fair complexion, shade 21, and every time I apply this, I think the color is perfect for me.
