I have sensitive skin with oily areas around my eyes, so I always need waterproof formulas or they smudge everywhere. I picked this mascara specifically because it's waterproof, and I'm so happy with it! The hold is fantastic and there's barely any flaking, so I'm using it constantly. I used to always buy that famous Holika Holika mascara, but honestly, this one is working out so much better for me! I wish the tube was a bit smaller. True - Monolid friendly! This mascara does tend to transfer a bit I haven't found a mascara I loved in forever, and this one is it! Monolid eyes, but it has such impressive definition even on my lid shape? This is clearly a well-made mascara Highlights 1. No smudging! My eyes are prone to smudging, but this hasn't budged once 2. Dries quickly! Which means less flaking on my eyelids 3. Holds beautifully! Even on rainy days, it stays put and lasts all night 4. The color is stunning! This is my first time trying brown mascara, and it's such a gorgeous, subtle shade. If you have warm undertones, this applies so softly! I absolutely love this product! It doesn't droop at all, feels incredibly light, and gives just the right amount of volume while applying so cleanly. The best part? It truly doesn't smudge. I have eyes that usually smudge even with other mascaras, but when I left work wearing this, I was shocked to see barely any smudging under my eyes. The color is gorgeous too. It's a deep black that isn't harsh or stark, so it looks completely natural without any weird contrast. The applicator gets slightly tapered toward the tip, which makes it so easy to carefully coat every lash, even the inner corner and outer corner lashes. Honestly, there's nothing really disappointing about it. But if I had to find something to mention, the applicator is on the thicker side, so if you prefer thin, delicate brushes, this might not be your favorite. There's a tiny bit of smudging on my eyes, but honestly, for my eye type, this is practically smudge-proof. The shade is just right - not too bright and not black either, exactly what I was looking for.
