I decided to get this for him. It's only been a month, so we haven't seen dramatic improvements yet, but he's noticed that the joint sounds have quieted down a bit, which I'm pretty happy about. I'm using this myself while giving it to my parents, and I genuinely feel like my knee pain is getting better!! I think it's best to take this after eating! Taking it on an empty stomach makes me feel a bit queasy
