I really loved this product before the reformulation, and since it seems to have been discontinued, I decided to try this version instead. It turns out to be a hybrid formula, which is my first time trying. Unfortunately, it's just not working for my skin. I've always used mineral-based formulas, and this one felt way too greasy and heavy on me. I think this hybrid formula would work great for people with dry skin who struggle with mineral-based products, but since I have combination skin, it just doesn't absorb well and doesn't seem to be a good match for me. I've used up the entire product and here's my honest review. This foundation really does brighten your complexion, and the matte finish is exactly what I was looking for. If you have dry skin, I'd skip this one. The matte formula isn't water-based, so it can be a bit tricky to apply smoothly. The texture is incredibly smooth and glides on beautifully with such ease. It provides just the right amount of hydration with a nice dewy finish. Best of all, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all (this is huge!). I wore it for the first time today and headed to work, and people kept asking what I did to my face because it looked so radiant and luminous! I'm really happy with this product. I used the same amount as my previous sunscreen, but I still have product left over. It spreads so well that you need less than you'd expect. I wish this came in a larger size. I tried this PDRN cream as a gift sample. It was my first experience with Jeunebelle through their cream line, and since it worked well for my skin, I decided to take a chance on their sunscreen too. To be honest, I ended up in tears from the irritation. (I focused on strengthening my skin barrier throughout March before using just this product) Skin Type: I have sensitive, acne-prone skin. With chemical sunscreens, I typically experience mild stinging, burning sensations, and eye irritation. Since I'm not sure which specific ingredients trigger my reactions, I prefer to stick with mineral sunscreens to avoid unnecessary risk. What I Loved: - Subtle chrysanthemum or chamomile flower scent - Excellent spreadability - Subtle brightening effect - No skin irritation or burning sensation What Didn't Work: - Severe eyebrow and pore clogging (I couldn't use the recommended amount. I wouldn't recommend this for sensitive, fine-haired skin like mine) - Greasy feeling followed by dryness (The peachy tone made the greasiness feel even more pronounced) - Eye irritation and stinging (I didn't experience this immediately, but it gradually developed in dry environments. It felt both stinging and parched. I was working at my desk near a heater in my apartment, and within three hours I was crying so much I had to go home and wash my face. I really tried to push through, but I completely failed) Personally, I felt like this product combined the worst aspects of both chemical and mineral sunscreens. I tried Jenabel's PDRN cream and it wasn't bad, so I decided to order their sunscreen too, but unfortunately my skin is so sensitive that finding the right sunscreen is nearly impossible for me. Sure enough, I kept getting breakouts. That said, the white cast is minimal and the brightening effect feels natural. Plus, it absorbs beautifully into the skin! The breakouts feel painful and keep appearing whenever I use this sunscreen. It glides on smoothly without any white cast. My skin tone looks naturally brighter and more radiant. It felt a bit sticky on my skin. Honestly, I didn't have any major complaints about it.

That said, the texture itself isn't stiff or heavy—it's smooth and applies beautifully with great spreadability. Heart Finish The finish isn't sticky at all; it feels light and powdery. After application, this product doesn't feel tacky or weighty. Instead, it feels airy and comfortable, making it absolutely perfect for weather like this. I'd definitely recommend it as a summer sunscreen. Heart Effectiveness With a high SPF and PA++++ protection, I feel confident using it. From my actual experience, I haven't noticed any burning or darkening of my skin, which tells me the UV protection is really working. I'm someone who tans easily, and I'm genuinely satisfied with how this performs. Heart Sensitivity I have sensitive, reactive skin that's prone to irritation and breakouts, but I haven't had any major issues with this product. I haven't experienced any new breakouts, redness, or irritation at all. Heart Amount Application If you don't apply the right amount, you might experience some pilling or clumping, so you'll want to be careful with how much you use. There's also a slight white cast, so if you really dislike that effect, I'd suggest trying a different product instead.
