Found this gem while searching for a pearl base product! I use it after my skincare routine and sunscreen, gently tapping it on my cheeks, forehead, and chin. The application is so smooth, and true to its name as a pearl base, it gives my makeup this gorgeous luminous finish that I absolutely love! I'm not sure if it's just me not controlling the pump well, but every time I dispense it, way more product comes out than I actually need. The pearl finish is so smooth and absolutely gorgeous. It gives you that perfect natural glow makeup look. The staying power is fantastic too. When I mix it with sunscreen, it delivers that beautiful luminous finish that just glows. I've even finished my entire complexion with just this product. I also love mixing it with my foundation for extra coverage. Even though I'll use up the whole thing, I'll definitely repurchase it anyway. Why? Because the packaging is just too pretty and cute. - hl*******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất12/03/2024 (UTC+0)
I'd recommend this for anyone dealing with acne-prone skin that tends to get flaky, because it adheres really well without feeling heavy. I haven't experienced any breakouts, so I think it's great! It does have a slightly oily feel to it.

When I first apply it, the formula glides on smoothly with a beautiful luminous finish, but that dewy glow doesn't last long. My under-eye area looked dry and dull, so I tried layering it, but the effect only worked initially and then faded away. Also, while the product photos show a deep burgundy tone, the actual shade leans more pink. Since I have rosacea and can't wear anything too rosy, I was hoping this would be more neutral, but it just reads as a soft, brightening shade instead. Here's what works better: use it like a primer with a light hand, or mix it with your foundation. Or apply it all over first, then layer your foundation or cushion on top so the shine doesn't feel overwhelming or heavy. So my honest take is this: it's nice to have, but I wouldn't say I'd desperately miss it if I didn't own it. It didn't live up to my expectations, and to be completely honest, I've already found a prettier luminous base that I like way more. I'll be posting a detailed review soon.
sh******Da hỗn hợpĐược đề xuất02/02/2024 (UTC+0)I opened it right away after purchasing, and I have to say the packaging is gorgeous and looks perfect on my vanity. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, my first impression was how hydrating it felt—it actually reminded me of the classic Benefit High Beam, which I loved back in the day! I used just two tiny pumps (smaller than a pea) and applied one to each cheekbone, mixing it with my matte sunscreen before layering my matte foundation on top. I spent about 2 hours walking outside in 7-degree weather, and I was really impressed with how well it stayed put. The subtle shimmer was so flattering that I didn't even need a separate highlighter—my skin just looked naturally radiant, which I loved. As someone with sensitive skin, I didn't experience any itching or irritation, and my eyes felt completely comfortable with no redness or discomfort. I can definitely see myself using this regularly. What I really appreciate about this product is that the glow is understated and refined—that's really the key to its appeal. If you want more intensity, you can always layer a separate highlighter on top, but honestly, the subtle luminosity this base provides is just right for me. The formula isn't overly oily, but I do have some advice: if you have combination or oily skin that's sensitive to any amount of oil, I'd strongly recommend pairing this with a matte sunscreen and matte foundation. And if you have dry skin but are sensitive to oils, try using either a matte sunscreen or matte foundation—just pick one to balance things out. Personally, I've been mixing it with my Aesop sunscreen and wearing it with Estée Lauder Double Wear or YSL Beauty, and the results are flawless—no excess shine and absolutely no creasing. It's super easy to use and the price point is really reasonable, so I'd definitely recommend this as a starter product if you're new to luminizing bases. I usually go for fragrance-free products, so I'm not used to strong scents, and this one has a pretty distinctive wavy kind of fragrance to it. I think older generations might really enjoy it, but it's honestly not the vibe for younger people. I'd suggest considering a different scent profile when you do your next reformulation.

So whether I'm wearing foundation or even double wear, I always layer a highlighter or luminizing stick somewhere on my face. But here's the thing with masks - the glow I apply on the surface doesn't last, and it gets wiped away easily. So I only really put in the effort when I'm driving or moving around (since I take it off at restaurants anyway). I end up settling for a semi-matte look most days. Anyway, because of this, I've been on a hunt for about a year now to find a product that goes under my foundation to help create that luminous effect from within. So I'm comparing this product with everything I've tried so far to show you exactly what makes it so special. I'm writing this because I genuinely love it! 1) How it feels on skin - Not suffocating at all! Weightless! Not thick or sticky! That's a huge win for me. (I haven't had any breakouts from it, though that varies person to person) - It applies so smoothly. Some other products like Code Glow or others tend to feel heavy and clumpy or leave a thick finish, but this one is almost liquid-like and applies so thin. 2) Pore coverage? - Just okay, I'd say medium level. The Chanel primer I was using before - it's pricey, but it covered pores beautifully while still giving amazing glow, so it was my absolute favorite. This one doesn't quite match that. But it still does a decent job covering pores! Since I haven't used a dedicated pore primer in a while, my opinion is very subjective. Please focus mainly on the "glow" and "feel" aspects. (For pore coverage, check other reviews or do a test!) 3) The moment of truth - the glow! - Even when I wear semi-matte foundation, the glow just shines through and I was blown away! This is it, I thought! Chanel couldn't do what this does! The glow is prettier and more noticeable than Chanel, similar to Armani but less heavy and doesn't clog pores, and I'm more satisfied with this than any other product I've tried! Below are quick reviews of products I've tested and comparisons: a) Chanel Primer - The performance is genuinely great, but it doesn't work as well with semi-matte. That's why I was searching for something with more glow, and this Glint product feels more liquid and creates a coating effect that really brings out the luminous finish! (Chanel feels more like skincare with less coating effect) b) Code Glow - Doesn't seem to work well for me. It applies a bit thick, feels too heavy and over the top for my taste. c) VDL - The base really sticks well and is amazing for lasting power. But it feels a bit like Benefit? I bought it as a glow type, but I don't see a huge difference from the original thick formula. There's a gap between how it looks when first applied and the final finish. d) Armani Beauty - The long white product! It has a blue undertone that covers yellow tones really well, and the formula is solid. It finishes very smoothly with a strong glow coating effect. The skin looks just as beautiful as with Glint. But after some time passes with foundation on top, it starts to feel heavy. I used it for a while, but over time things would shift and I'd get breakouts, so I stopped using it. e) MAC - It's famous for looking pretty, right? But honestly, the foundation tends to shift and pores become more visible. The skin looks smooth, but whether it's a texture issue, I felt it was a bit slippery. It works okay with semi-matte foundations that have good pore coverage, but then the glow disappears with those products. It feels like a glow emulsion situation. Not for me. I haven't tried the Benefit Glow Pearl version yet (only the original), and I'm so curious about it. I'm also curious about Guerlain base! Someone commented on a Chanel foundation post saying Guerlain was amazing, and I recently tried Guerlain foundation and loved it so much. Once I try the base, I'll do a comparison with Glint! If you're looking for a product that gives great glow while being relatively lightweight (not so absorbent that it doesn't provide coverage!) and applies easily, I highly recommend this one! I don't really have any complaints so far! At first I thought I wanted more glow, but once I paired it with the right foundation, it turned out to be perfectly luminous! Plus, I don't feel much oiliness and the formula is so light that I'm even more satisfied. If I notice any downsides, I'll update this review. The photo shows my skin after using the Glint base and doing my makeup! Proper hydration from skincare is essential! If you have dehydrated or sensitive skin, unfortunately skipping the primer is the better choice for your skin health.
pr*******Da hỗn hợpDa mụnĐược đề xuất19/06/2021 (UTC+0)If you want to achieve a bright, radiant, luminous complexion, I highly recommend the Glint Glow Pearl Base. The moisturizing, bouncy texture contains rosy-glow pearls that instantly brighten your skin with a soft pink tone and give it a beautiful shimmer the moment you apply it. The lightweight, silky formula spreads beautifully across the skin. When I tested it on the back of my hand, the difference was immediately noticeable right after application, but once it fully absorbs, only a subtle pearl finish remains, giving your skin a naturally lifted appearance. You can use it not just on your face but on any body area you want to highlight, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I think your legs and collarbone area would look especially stunning. Rather than creating a thick, obvious glow only where you apply it, the subtle pearl shimmer catches the light beautifully and creates a more refined, dimensional radiance. Even though it comes in a compact size, a little goes a long way, so this product will last you quite a while. I also love how easy it is to control the amount when pumping. I usually apply this before my cushion foundation, and I've noticed my skin looks noticeably better than usual. My makeup also applies more smoothly. It blends seamlessly with the cushion, subtly brightening my complexion (see photo 1). I also use it as a highlighter, and it's perfect for creating a soft, understated glow (see photo 2). I'm a bit disappointed because of mask-wearing season. The moisturizing formula does feel slightly more prone to creasing than usual. It looks absolutely beautiful when you see it, but it's really a shame. You can mix it with your existing base products like tone-up creams or foundations, blend it with concealer to cover dark circles, or mix it with blush to add extra vitality and radiance. The versatility is amazing, which makes you reach for this product again and again.
