I was amazed at how it created such natural-looking waves after drying. Compared to using regular shampoo, this one definitely gave my curls so much more definition and made styling so much easier, haha! Fragrance: I'm not entirely sure what the exact scent is, but it's subtle and long-lasting, which I absolutely loved. Formula: The texture is silky smooth and it creates such a rich, luxurious lather. It's great, but I find the price a bit steep to repurchase regularly. A shampoo that costs 60,000 won is quite an investment. Also, I wish it came in a pump bottle instead of this format. That would have made it so much more convenient.

I thought it might just be in my head, but this product really doesn't work for me. I used it about 4 times and then stopped. After drying my hair, it feels stiff, so you'd probably need to use a conditioner with it. Within the frizz-prone category, I have particularly curly, frizzy strands, so my curls are a mix of beachy waves and loose waves that tend to frizz. The photos show my hair from six months ago after bleaching and now. I'll review this in the order of what worked best for me. # Cleansing Power: First, the cleansing power was really impressive. Since I naturally have oily hair, if I wash my hair in the morning, oil builds up on my bangs and side sections by afternoon. I can't imagine going without washing the night before. This shampoo not only feels clean right after washing, but it also has the advantage of keeping that clean feeling going strong throughout the day. # Results: Does curly hair have curl definition? It's hard to describe exactly, but frizz-prone hair is challenging to dry. One wrong move and it becomes puffy and flyaway, looking like a total mess, especially on windy days. But even on breezy days, my hair looked less frizzy than usual and felt more controlled. Of course, most people might not notice much difference, but if you have strong frizz like I do, you'll definitely see how much more polished your hair looks. # Texture: The shampoo had a clear, gel-like consistency similar to aloe vera gel. While most pump-style shampoos flow like water, this one had a thicker, more substantial texture that didn't feel runny. # Lather: Because of the texture, it created a rich, creamy lather that didn't wash away easily, which made the cleansing feel even more effective. # Scent: A lot of people love the fragrance, but it's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing. But since I switched to Hairburst shampoo, the drooping is noticeably less, and my curls feel bouncy and hold their form so much better. I'd definitely recommend this for permed hair. While it does a great job holding curls, there is a bit of stiffness to it. That said, if you use a conditioner or treatment after shampooing, it's really not a problem at all. If you apply a curl cream after using Hairburst shampoo, styling your permed hair becomes super easy and looks absolutely gorgeous.
