The tube format with its smooth balm texture makes it easy to control the amount and keeps everything hygienic. It removes most makeup effectively, and it emulsifies quickly when it comes into contact with water, which is a great advantage. The texture has slightly larger particles compared to a powder formula, but it doesn't feel irritating on the skin. You need quite a bit of product to thoroughly cleanse your entire face, which is more than expected. Additionally, the fragrance is quite strong for a cleansing product—it has a pretty overpowering scent.

I've tried Pack to Form before and decided to give this a shot, but this one feels like a better fit for my skin. The foam cleanser had an alkaline formula with BHA that caused some irritation, but this one gently dissolves dead skin without any of that harshness. The blackheads and oxidized spots that were trapped underneath just disappear so easily. Honestly, no matter what else I say, the fragrance is absolutely incredible—even better than Pack to Form. That fresh, clean mugwort scent is so good that I want to repurchase it just for the smell alone. It spreads so smoothly and evenly. Since it's a nighttime product, it does feel a bit oily, but it's not that slick, greasy feeling—it's more like a finely-milled, silky texture that feels really unique and interesting. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry at all! There's barely any tightness. But would I repurchase? Absolutely yes. I can actually see the dead skin cells lifting away, which makes it so satisfying to use. You need to use quite a bit of product each time, so it feels expensive. I think I need a second cleanse because one round alone left my skin feeling a bit sticky and uncomfortable. The cleansing power doesn't feel particularly strong.

I ended up purchasing it because I was completely charmed by the cute hair band and the gift set. But honestly... if I had to name an advantage, the new texture I experienced with this product is interesting compared to what I've seen with other cleansers. It doesn't really grab my attention, and I'm not even sure if it's controlling sebum well. I think using my previous cleanser would be better. Plus, you really need to emulsify this thoroughly. After rinsing everything off and just wiping with a cleansing toner on a cotton pad, some product residue comes off. It removes makeup beautifully, and after washing my face, my skin feels so smooth and soft. I think this would work really well for oily skin types. It wasn't too harsh for me personally, but I did notice a bit of tightness. I've been using this since it launched, and honestly, I can't imagine switching to anything else now. My skin is really sensitive and doesn't do well with double cleansing, but this product is a game-changer. The cleansing power is absolutely incredible for a single-step cleanser. The main downside is the price point, which is pretty steep. This cleanser removes everything - heavy base makeup (primer, foundation, thick powder) and mascara included. The formula has this mud-like texture that honestly made me skeptical at first, but it actually works amazingly! What really impressed me is how it instantly refines your skin texture and controls excess oil. It cleanses so thoroughly that you might not even need a second cleanse. It's truly an all-in-one product. That said, using a dedicated eye and lip makeup remover for mascara feels gentler on the delicate eye area. When you're working with the mud formula, there's a slight concern about irritation. Plus, there's a bit of that heavy residue you get with oil-based cleansers. It doesn't emulsify as smoothly as some formulas do. After rinsing, my skin felt squeaky clean, which was fine for me, but if you're sensitive to that oily residue that lingers with oil cleansers, I'd recommend doing a second cleanse. The products from Hanryul have consistently excellent spreadability. I apply all my masks with a silicone brush, and I've had so many frustrating experiences with thicker formulas - they don't spread evenly across my face, they clump on the brush, pile up only in textured areas like around my nose, refuse to coat the bridge of my nose no matter how much I apply, and transfer right back to the brush the moment I try to blend them. It's genuinely annoying every single time. But Hanryul masks? Their spreadability is absolutely outstanding. Even though they contain particles and aren't a flowing formula, they glide across my face like the smoothest cream. It feels like my face is being coated in silk. This is the first time I've ever had a mask apply so smoothly, even on my nose. This cleansing balm doesn't emulsify when you add water. Rinsing it off feels more like washing off a sheet mask rather than actually cleansing. The cleansing power is decent, nothing spectacular. I really love how convenient this mud mask is! You just apply it gently for about a minute and rinse it off right away. The cleansing power is so effective that I skip the second cleanse and just use this alone, which works great for me when I'm not wearing makeup. My skin tends to be a bit dehydrated and sensitive, so I did notice it felt slightly tight after using this mask. On days when I use it, I make sure to follow up with a hydrating gel mask to give my skin plenty of moisture. The biggest downside is that it's really hard to control the amount you're using. It spreads so smoothly that I'm never quite sure how much I should be applying, and even when I want to apply a thicker layer, it doesn't cooperate. The other major issue is that I break out the next day after using it every single time. It seems to irritate my skin a bit, so I've had to cut back from using it frequently to just twice a week instead. I think I'll need to stick with using it about twice a week. I haven't used it long enough to say for sure, but if the breakouts keep happening, I might have to stop using it altogether. The finish isn't greasy at all, so you can use this alone to complete your look. It even removes mascara effortlessly. The texture is incredibly smooth, just like a mud mask. When I apply it, I feel this gentle warmth spreading across my skin, and it's like my excess oil just melts away?! It's seriously not irritating at all—so gentle and soothing!!! Even when I rinse it off, there's no irritation and barely any residue left behind I'm not sure what makes this stand out compared to other products..!? It doesn't seem to have any real pore-tightening effect, and honestly, it works best when I'm just doing a basic base routine rather than full makeup. It's nice to use when I want something that cleanses without any irritation. Even though they say you don't need a second cleanse, I still do one anyway because it just feels right to me! When I use it together with the mugwort cleansing foam from the same line, the combination works really well.
