This product feels so hydrating and moisturizing, and I really like the scent! I was honestly stressed about how visible my pores were, but I've noticed they look a bit less noticeable now. It seems to be working to some degree, but I'm not entirely convinced the results are as impressive as I'd hoped. I haven't seen any dramatic changes so far.

Got a sample and decided to try it out. I heard it has a pore-tightening effect after oil extraction, so I used it right away. The pads are pretty thick. For exfoliation, one side is textured and the other is smooth. I wiped my face with the smooth side first, then applied it as a mask on my cheeks in the second step. One end is pointed, which makes it super convenient to use on my nose area. After 10 minutes, I definitely noticed my pores looked tighter right away. I'll need to use it longer to really see how well it removes dead skin. When this product first launched, I received several sample pads and used them during my travels. The pads felt a bit small compared to the ball size, but they were really soft and comfortable. The essence had just the right consistency—it didn't drip or feel too wet. There's a fragrance in the formula, though I couldn't really detect it much, so it must be pretty subtle. October 19, 2025 I tried the Hanul pore pads and I have to say, I went in with pretty high expectations about whether they'd make a real difference. The two thick, teardrop-shaped pads came absolutely saturated with essence. I figured the embossed side would be especially great for exfoliation, so I gently wiped it all over my face. Then something amazing happened—I could see faint yellowish residue coming off on the pad! Wow, I was shocked! When I've used just toner before, I've never seen this kind of buildup come off. I was genuinely surprised, and honestly, I started feeling like I didn't want to waste a single pad. I finished by carefully going over my forehead and ears with the smoother side of the pad. And then—this radiant glow appeared. Wow, it was actually dazzling! These Hanul pore pads are seriously a game-changer. I honestly can't think of a single reason not to recommend these. The scent is lovely, there's no irritation, the essence feels incredibly hydrating, and the texture of the pad itself feels great in your hand. Everything about them is just good. Make sure you use every side of the pad—get into all those corners and crevices. That way, not a single drop of essence goes to waste. After you're done, your skin will feel luminous and silky-smooth for about a week, almost like a pearl. If you layer a pore-minimizing toner on top of that, your skin will feel even more refined and bouncy.

The whole concept of soft chestnut, the chestnut-shaped pad design, and that sweet caramel-like fragrance are right up my alley. Honestly, this is the product I find myself reaching for constantly, especially as we head into fall. The hydration level is so generous and moisturizing, which is perfect for my dry skin. I'm really happy with how it's working for me. I've gone through a whole container and I'm still not sure if it's actually shrinking my pores. It's hard to tell if it's really making a difference. After cleansing, I just spritz on a hydrating mist and then use the chestnut pad to smooth out my skin texture. I've been using this for about a month now. This is my first time trying a pore-minimizing product, and I have to say, it really works! After applying it at night, my skin texture looks so refined and smooth the next morning. Plus, the hydration boost is noticeable and impressive. I wish this covered my nose better. When I apply it to both sides first, the coverage doesn't line up perfectly when I try to fill in the center of my nose.

To be honest, I couldn't find any real advantages to them. I finished a full jar of the Soft Chestnut Mask and thought this might be just as good, but my expectations were too high and I was disappointed. First of all, the pads are too thick, which I personally don't prefer. The Soft Chestnut Mask had a delicious caramel corn scent, but these pads smell like aged chestnut makgeolli with a slightly off, fermented note. Also, since I don't believe pore-minimizing effects are something you can actually get from skincare products, these were just average pads for me.

One side has an exfoliating texture that works like a toner, while the other side is smooth and flat like a mask. Unlike other pads, this one has a pointed edge that's perfect for getting into those tricky spots around the nose. The exfoliating effect is decent, but the pore-minimizing results feel underwhelming. The pad is a bit thick, so if you're used to thinner ones, it might feel awkward to use.

They contain LHA and provide gentle exfoliation without irritation. I love that they have two different textures - I use the smooth side to prep my skin before makeup, then flip to the textured side for a gentle exfoliating treatment. The subtle fragrance is really pleasant too. I'd definitely be interested if they released a matching mask from this line! My only complaint is the price point - it's quite expensive, which is why I'm giving it three stars. I can't really tell if it minimizes pores or not. Pro tip: keep these in the fridge for an extra refreshing experience! They're so hydrating that they feel a bit luxurious to use during busy days, so I'd recommend saving them for your evening routine as a mask alternative instead.
