I'm on my second bottle and honestly, the hydration is absolutely packed in here! It works amazingly well on its own even on those super dry days, plus you get so much product that it's a must-have for winter. During other seasons besides winter, it can feel a bit heavy. I can use this in the morning instead of toner and it gives my skin decent hydration. The scent and texture are fine, nothing to complain about, but there's nothing particularly special about it either. I bought this based on reviews saying it's great for moisture, but now that early winter is here, I find it doesn't provide enough hydration for my dry skin in the evening. In fact, your complexion gets this beautiful luminous glow. Even when my skin is feeling sensitive and reactive, this product is so gentle and actually makes my skin feel plump and bouncy. That said, I'd skip it if you have very oily skin, since the hydrating layer can feel a bit heavy and occlusive. I do have combination skin leaning dry, so I notice that slightly, but I use it anyway because the glow and moisture payoff is worth it. If you have dry skin though, this is an absolute must-have. You can't layer anything on top of this without issues. It leaves skin feeling hydrated and dewy, but for those of us with oily skin like me, it gets pretty greasy later in the day. My parents and boyfriend absolutely love it though—they say their skin stays moisturized and comfortable all day long! If you tend to get oily as the afternoon rolls around, I'd skip this one. That said, I will say it doesn't seem to trigger breakouts!
