I got to see the redesigned patch in person for the first time with this purchase, and I was really impressed by all the improvements! The added score lines, the thinner square patch, and so much more—I could feel the difference right away. But honestly, what made me happiest was the protective film they added in front of the square patch. When I open multiple patches and stack them together, they don't stick to each other anymore, and that's absolutely amazing! I usually take out a bunch of patches from one ziplock bag and store them together, and before this redesign, the films would constantly stick to each other, which was such a pain... I can see how adding the exudate-absorbing section to the square patch is technically an upgrade in performance, but personally I was a bit disappointed. After I turned twenty, I barely got any large pus-filled breakouts that would need a whole big patch, so I'd usually cut the large patch into quarters and use it that way. But now if I do that, the adhesion gets too weak and I don't think I can use it like that anymore. If you're trying to apply the patch right after skincare, it's totally normal for it not to stick well because of all the moisture and oils in your products. Here's the trick: cleanse your face, don't apply anything, apply the patch properly first, and then do your skincare routine—and trust me, it'll stay put! Just so you know, the version they're selling at Olive Young is the old formula, so the square patches are thicker and the adhesion is weaker, which is why they slip off easily. But the redesigned square patches have fixed all of these issues.

From the moment a pimple starts to get red and inflamed all the way through to when it finally heals, this one product does it all! When it's puffy and red, I stick this patch on, and once the swelling goes down, it's amazing! The results are seriously impressive. If it still stays puffy, then it's just one of those pimples that's going to pop anyway. Once it does, I give it a quick rinse, disinfect it, and slap this patch right on—problem solved! Once the patch absorbs the inflammation and the center gets moist, I swap it out for a fresh one. And here's the best part—it barely shows! The only downside is that once the center gets wet from the absorbed fluid, people around me might suggest I should pop it, haha! But honestly, this patch handles everything so well. I like it, and there's plenty of product. I just wish you'd have sales more often! I'll definitely be buying again. This brand offers two different products depending on the stage - one for before a blemish comes to a head and one for after it's already opened. I picked up the post-breakout version since that's what I needed. When you apply it after the blemish has opened, it creates this white protective layer that really does help prevent scarring. I'm honestly impressed with how well it works! I tried the pre-breakout version a few times, but it just felt like a basic antibacterial barrier - kind of like what you'd get from just touching it with clean hands. I didn't notice any real difference in how quickly the blemish calmed down or improved. It didn't deliver the targeted treatment I was hoping for.
