This film-type product only works on one side. The white side absorbs oil beautifully, and unlike similar products, it turns dark immediately so you can instantly see exactly where your skin is oiliest. Sometimes if you're not paying attention, you'll accidentally use the wrong side. I've gone through over 10 packs of these oil blotting papers in my lifetime! They absorb oil really effectively, and the thick texture means my fingers stay clean while using them. When someone looks at my face from across the room, you can't see that greasy shine at all. Plus, I can dab them on gently without being obvious about it! Haeseolin oil blotting papers are absolutely amazing! They work so well on the other side without showing through, and they really soak up oil while keeping your base makeup intact. Plus, you get so many sheets in one pack - totally worth it! They're a bit thin, so sometimes two sheets come out stuck together and I end up using them without realizing it. I love how this product absorbs quickly whenever my skin gets oily. It really does the job well, and I appreciate that it comes with plenty of sheets. The downside is that you'll need multiple sheets to cover your entire face.
