I have oily scalp and was struggling with buildup and scalp odor, so I couldn't find a shampoo that worked for me! I honestly haven't found any downsides so far! I'm repurchasing and using it regularly The cleansing power is stronger than I expected, so if I only use this shampoo without conditioner on my oily scalp, it actually makes the buildup worse! I need to use both shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair feeling fresh through the next day! After swimming with my hair up, this shampoo feels so refreshing when I use it. My husband loves it too, so I've stuck with this shampoo all summer long. Even though my hair tends to be dry and I sweat a lot in the heat, it works great for me. The only issue is that it tingles all the way down to my face. I've completely emptied the bottle! The lather is fantastic, and it really does a great job of calming scalp heat and irritation. I think this would be perfect for oily scalp types. Honestly, I couldn't find anything to complain about. If you have an oily scalp, I think you'd be really happy with this product. In the morning, I do a light cleanse with it, and at night after shampooing, I let it sit for 2-3 minutes before rinsing with cool water. I've been using this for about two weeks now! A friend recommended it to me, and I decided to give it a try. Even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any breakouts or irritation! The cooling function feels refreshing, and it seems perfect for summer use! Even with just a small amount, it creates a nice lather and cleanses really well! The one thing I wish was different is that the cooling function is quite intense. When I wash my hair and the product runs down my face, my face gets cooled down too, which feels a bit too strong. I'm a bit concerned about getting foam on my face, but it's unavoidable when washing. If you're sensitive to cooling sensations or prefer to avoid them, I'd suggest thinking this one over before purchasing!

I loved the refreshing cooling sensation and the pleasant scent. Even though I have an oily scalp, it left my hair feeling clean and invigorated. My hair didn't feel stiff or weighed down at all—instead, it felt moisturized and silky smooth, almost like I'd used a conditioning treatment. I can't really think of any downsides. Since I'm in the military, I picked it up at the base exchange and got a great deal on the price.
