This product nourishes the scalp while making hair incredibly soft and silky. When I first used it, I felt a warming sensation on my scalp with a nice steam-like effect. I've definitely noticed less hair shedding compared to before I started using it. It really does help with hair loss concerns. My scalp feels great with no irritation at all, and since it's safe for scalp use, I'm planning to keep using it regularly. The menthol ingredient can irritate your eyes if it gets in them. That said, it's not overly harsh or uncomfortable otherwise. This is a product where you can actually feel your hair getting better as you use it. I wish the ingredients and price were better. The formula isn't great and it's quite expensive for what you get.

Even though I have some frizz-prone hair, it stays calm and manageable after blow-drying. When I apply it directly to my scalp, it can cause some irritation. So I spray it on my hair and gently comb it through with my fingers to distribute it to my scalp too. I bought this after hearing it could help with gray hairs, and I've been using it for over a week now. I can definitely feel like my scalp is getting proper care! Since it's pricey, I'm using this just for my scalp treatment and a different conditioner for my hair. The only thing is that since it's a liquid formula, it's a bit hard to tell how much product I'm actually applying. My hair feels incredibly soft right away. Honestly, on the first day my hair was so dry and tangled, but this made such a difference. I love that it works for both hair and scalp, so I can use it with confidence. The cooling effect is fantastic. The moment it touches your face or other skin, it feels intensely hot with a burning sensation. Then suddenly it cools down, which I think is from the menthol ingredient. If you're really into that cooling effect, it's fine, but the irritation is noticeable, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to skip this. Also, you need to use quite a bit for it to feel soft in your hands. I'd recommend spraying it on the roots and crown area, avoiding your face.

Thanks to conditioning agents that work similarly to silicones, you do get some immediate smoothing effect right away. If heavy, greasy treatments feel overwhelming to you, this is worth trying. The texture really does feel light and easy to use. Great if you're looking for silicone-free If your hair isn't damaged, the conditioning should be sufficient. That said, being silicone-free doesn't mean it's super gentle. Of course, if your scalp is healthy and your hair isn't damaged, honestly most products work fine anyway! Not a long-term care solution It doesn't actually improve hair structure. This feels more like a marketing product than something with real benefits. If you're looking for actual damage repair treatment, I'd skip this. Confusing scalp formula Sure, it's silicone-free and has soothing extracts, but there are too many potentially irritating ingredients. The extracts listed lower on the ingredient list probably won't deliver real calming benefits. This scalp formula seems best suited for people with oily, healthy scalps only. When I used it on my scalp, it felt a bit tight and uncomfortable—possibly from irritation. Not recommended for damaged hair I question why they'd go silicone-free just to make it scalp-focused. For hair care beyond the scalp, silicone-containing products actually seem better for damaged hair. When you want to switch salons After seeing my scalp type and hair condition, I wouldn't go back to a salon that recommended this. I'm already skeptical about salon product recommendations in general, but this one was especially disappointing. If you're thinking about finding a new salon, definitely ask for their recommendations first.
