I tried using a cleansing water to remove it, but it felt like it wasn't completely washing away? These days I'm using a cleansing balm instead, which is basically the perfect middle ground between a cleansing water and an oil. It has so much hydration, and when I apply it to my face, it melts from my skin's warmth. It's absolutely perfect for dissolving with warm water! I've gone through about four containers of this already, and since I share it with my family, it runs out pretty quickly! If I were using it solo, I think one container would last me a couple of months. The scent is genuinely amazing, though I have to admit the charcoal color looks a bit funny when you apply it to your face! This is my first time trying a cleansing balm, and I'm really impressed! It comes with its own spatula, which is so convenient. After using it for a few days, I have to say the scent and amount are both spot-on. The cleansing power is fantastic—it's so effective that I've stopped using a separate eye makeup remover and just use this product alone. My eye area doesn't feel irritated at all, and the makeup comes off beautifully. The only thing I wish is that there was an extra cap. The spatula is attached to the lid, and I'm a bit worried it might fall off into the balm if I'm not careful. My skin stays beautifully hydrated and moisturized even after cleansing, and I absolutely love it I can't really think of any downsides. Even a small amount is more than enough to do the job

After rolling it gently with my fingers a few times, it melts beautifully into the skin with a silky finish. The application and feel are really excellent. The included spatula makes it super hygienic and convenient to use. 2. Cleansing Power I typically massage it on for 2-3 minutes, then emulsify with water before rinsing thoroughly. The emulsification happens incredibly fast, and the makeup comes off so completely that I feel like I've done a double cleanse without needing any additional cleanser. Plus, the charcoal ingredient works wonders for pore care, so I noticed all the trapped oil and impurities were thoroughly cleared out. 3. Hydration and Comfort Usually when a cleanser works this well, your skin feels tight afterward, but this product is different! My skin felt refreshed and hydrated after use, living up to its name perfectly. I think using this every day or every other day will really help with oil control! (Though it won't eliminate everything completely) I don't use a separate eye makeup remover, but this cleansing oil removes makeup so much more easily than any others I've tried before. Even when I rub it close to my eyes, it doesn't sting or leave that uncomfortable residue feeling. After double cleansing with a slightly alkaline foam cleanser, my skin used to feel dry on the surface, but I didn't experience that at all with this product. It's exactly the product described on the label. Excellent!!!! I also really love how the container opens and closes, and that you can attach the spatula to it. Texture -Unlike other cleansing balms, this one doesn't get too thin and runny 3. Cleansing power -At first I saw a lot of dark residue and worried it wasn't emulsifying properly, but the moment water touches it, it turns white and breaks down beautifully. My skin feels completely clean without needing a second cleanse 4. Packaging -I'm honestly obsessed with the spatula. Other products make it awkward to store the spatula, but this one has a secure holder so I can keep everything hygienic and organized The downside 1. Scent -There's really just one issue…the smell reminds me of old karaoke rooms…it's quite artificial…honestly a bit headache-inducing…? Since the benefit is that it doesn't break down too quickly, if you use too little product it can feel stiff and uncomfortable. I'd recommend using a generous amount for the best experience.
