This product is gentle and hydrating. I have combination skin and it works perfectly for my skin type. I really can't think of any downsides. I've been using this right after cleansing for about five months from October 2024 through March 2025. I apply it daily, morning and night, and I'm really impressed with how it hydrates and brightens my skin. Even when I use it before makeup, it doesn't interfere with my base and actually locks in moisture beautifully. It's so hydrating, seriously like an emulsion! The texture is incredibly moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling dewy and plump. It stings if it gets in your eyes, so I only apply what's left on my hands around the eye area to be safe. I think this product is really easy to use without any hassle. I'm also loving the fresh, invigorating scent it has I only use this skin emulsion without anything else, but it doesn't seem to deliver that full moisture boost I'm looking for. Is this really an exfoliating treatment? It actually works! When I apply it generously, my skin stays smooth without any flaking, and it feels so nourished! No downsides at all. Honestly, I can't find any cons for me. No drawbacks whatsoever! The application felt smooth and easy to use. For the first few days, my skin felt incredibly soft and supple. I have sensitive skin, so I decided to switch up my skincare routine and replaced all my basic products with Hera's line. After using it for 2 weeks, my skin completely reacted badly, and now I'm seeing a dermatologist. I've visited three different dermatologists, and they all diagnosed me with allergic contact dermatitis. They all recommended going back to my previous products if I'd recently changed anything. So I've switched back to my old brand. I've learned that it's more important to find what works for your own skin rather than just chasing products with great reviews.
