I've been happily using the mist cushion for a while, then tried other products, and finally picked up this glow cushion. Honestly, it's not the most hydrating, doesn't provide heavy coverage, isn't the smoothest, and doesn't absorb or blend like I'd expect. When there are texture issues on my skin, it actually highlights them and makes those areas look rough. But here's the thing—when I step back and look at the overall effect, it's so naturally beautiful with this subtle, luminous glow and the most gorgeous texture. What even is this cushion? And the feeling on my skin is so comfortable. It feels light and airy without any heaviness or stickiness. Plus, there's zero tightness. What is this cushion, really? I keep reaching for it. I'm genuinely obsessed. It has its disappointing moments, but honestly, it doesn't. What is this cushion anyway? (I'm seriously wondering what makes it so special.) This foundation is wonderfully hydrating and perfect for winter use, though it might feel a bit too dewy for summer if you have oily skin If you have oily skin, this can be challenging to wear during summer months, and the wear time isn't quite as long-lasting as a matte cushion formula

Unlike other glow cushions, this one tends to look powdery and settle into fine lines around the eyes and on the nose, creating a slightly cakey appearance. While it doesn't feel greasy, there's a disconnect between how it looks on the surface and how dry it feels underneath. This cushion sits somewhere between a semi-glow and semi-matte finish. When doing touch-ups, you'll need to remove the product from your nose and reapply it there. For other areas, you can usually just layer it on without any issues.

My skin is combination, with oiliness only appearing in my T-zone. My cheeks and jawline need hydrating products, while my nose and forehead require powder-based formulas to control shine. ✔️Coverage Unlike the black cushion, this glow formula prioritizes luminosity over full coverage, delivering a lightweight finish with a dewy skin effect. Since I typically blend the glow and black matte foundations in a 2:1 ratio anyway, I don't stress too much about coverage. If you're seeking flawless, full coverage, this isn't the right choice for you. ✔️Skin Finish Instead of heavy coverage, this glow cushion line delivers that gorgeous, radiant shine that really makes skin glow. I'd recommend this to anyone with naturally dry skin or those who struggle with their face feeling parched during winter from heating. The luminosity is absolutely stunning. To get that beautiful finish, it's important to use the right amount and apply it evenly across your face. That said, I wouldn't recommend using this during sweaty summer months—it tends to break down with perspiration. ✔️Longevity Honestly, the staying power is a bit disappointing. While the skin finish looks gorgeous at first, after 4-5 hours the formula breaks down and oils start showing through, especially around the pores and nose area (other areas hold up better). Because of this, you'll need to carry the cushion with you for touch-ups or apply powder to set it properly. ✔️With proper touch-up application, you can achieve your best skin. ✔️It doesn't provide complete coverage for texture or blemishes. ✔️If you don't control oil well, it can trigger breakouts the next day. I'm disappointed with the reformulated version. While it does have more shine than before, the wear time isn't great and it creases quite a bit. The original formula wasn't the most full-coverage, but it felt nicely hydrated and blended so naturally. It seems like the new version focused way too much on that glossy finish. It even transfers onto my hair, which is frustrating. I'm planning to test it out during the dry winter months to see if it performs better then. The longevity is disappointing. I found this to be more moisturizing than the black version, so my skin didn't feel dry while wearing it. That said, if you have naturally dry skin, the difference might not be as noticeable once you've finished applying it. The coverage feels a bit lighter compared to the black version! The coverage evens out your entire complexion beautifully, and it feels wonderfully hydrating. The dewy finish might look a bit too shiny if you have oily skin.
