Perfect shade for cool undertones! I discovered this by chance, and I loved everything about it from the packaging to the color so much that I decided to buy it without even testing it first. When I swatched it on the back of my hand, the color turned out exactly as I imagined. However, when I actually applied it to my lips, I noticed a slight difference. Depending on your skin tone, there can be variations, and I have a cool winter complexion with vivid to deep undertones. When I put it on my lips, the color appeared lighter than expected, and it looked just a touch warmer on my skin tone than I'd hoped. That said, it doesn't look completely off, and while it's not a perfect match, it's definitely still wearable. The texture is powdery as the name suggests, with a soft, blurred effect when applied. The powdery texture means that if you apply too much product, it can get a bit clumpy. Since I have quite a few lip lines, the formula tends to settle into the creases. And honestly, the taste is a bit off-putting. If you prefer a sheer application, one thin layer works great as a base. I saw my friend using this and borrowed it to try, and I fell in love with it right away! I bought it immediately. The color is absolutely gorgeous, but I'm so disappointed it's been discontinued. I'm being really careful with it and using it sparingly. It transfers onto my mask so easily... The case looks absolutely gorgeous, and the application is so smooth and effortless. It glides on beautifully. While the application feels nice, the color payoff is disappointingly weak. It emphasizes dry patches, fine lines, and wrinkles in unflattering ways. Going out for drinks with someone special? This lipstick won't hold up well. When I blend it on my lips, it gives off a pretty cool-toned pink vibe in person, but when I take photos with my regular camera (iPhone 12), the pink doesn't come through as strongly as I'd hoped. For the price, the quality just doesn't match up. I'm honestly relieved this shade was discontinued. If you apply a nice base lip color first and use this as just a subtle accent lip, you can make it work. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the pigmentation is fantastic! I'm really impressed with how well it applies. The packaging is beautiful too!! I expected this to be completely matte, but I was pleasantly surprised by the velvety texture that feels more moisturizing than that. And honestly, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. 1. The staying power is quite weak, and it transfers onto my mask quite a bit. 2. The color doesn't show up beautifully in one application - I need to apply it several times to get the shade to really come through. This is the perfect lip color for cool-toned winter complexions. I wasn't really interested in Hera lip products, but this one completely changed my mind. Since it's labeled as a matte lip, I thought I'd need to prep my lips carefully, but when I swatched it on my hand, it felt like a moisturizing formula instead. When applied to the lips, it delivers a hydrating color payoff, and as time passes, the texture transforms into a semi-matte finish. The applicator tip is also designed for easy application, and the packaging is beautifully minimal without any unnecessary frills—I absolutely love this product. As someone who only reached for MAC, Hera has me wanting to explore other shades now. The color is quite deep, but if you're a summer cool-tone and apply it lightly as a base, then use this as a gradient accent, it would look stunning. I'd describe the color as a clear grape wine shade. If you have a cool-toned winter complexion, I really recommend giving this a try. The downside is that there aren't many matte lip options for summer cool-tones. The matte tints available now have somewhat unclear colors. For summer cool-tones, try applying a light base first, then layer this shade on top for a beautiful, flattering finish.

The formula applies smoothly and evenly, even when I'm just doing a quick swipe. If you have a cool undertone that leans warm, I'd skip this one. I'm a cool-toned person myself, and I find myself reaching for other options. It's much warmer than I expected, and it only gets warmer as the day goes on.
