This shade works beautifully on everyone, whether you have cool or warm undertones. It has this gorgeous brick-red tone that's so versatile. The application is tricky - it's hard to get an even amount on the applicator tip, which makes it difficult to apply smoothly.

I grabbed this the moment I saw the color - it's absolutely stunning! Even the tiniest amount gives such rich, vibrant color payoff. The matte finish has amazing staying power too! As someone with warm undertones, this shade is literally made for me. If you have dry lips, the matte formula might feel a bit intense for you. I absolutely love this matte tint! Despite being matte, it applies so smoothly and the shade matches my skin tone beautifully. I use shade 23 in the cushion foundation, and this color is just perfect for my complexion! I haven't found any downsides yet! The color is absolutely gorgeous and the pigmentation is fantastic. The compact case is so cute and portable, making it super convenient to carry around. This shade is absolutely perfect for layering under other products and looks great even when I'm going makeup-free. I love how it's not too bright, and the velvet finish is so smooth without any sticky feeling. The staying power could be better, and if my lips are dry, it tends to emphasize any flakiness. I get the best results when I prep my lips with a lip balm first to keep them hydrated, then blot and apply. The shades I'm using are Lip Stain 212, Merje Velvet V9 Granada, and Hera 499.

It glides on smoothly like a water tint, spreading effortlessly across the lips. 2. Color payoff Even with just a small amount, the color payoff is incredibly strong. 1. Color accuracy It's strange because YouTube reviewers said it wouldn't pull orange and that the pink undertones work great for warm skin tones, but why does the actual color come out so orange on me? I'm really disappointed. 2. Longevity The staying power is way too weak. This was honestly the most disappointing part for me. Since my job involves talking a lot, after just a few hours my lips are completely bare again. I gave this as a gift to a friend and she absolutely loved it! It has the perfect matte finish - not too heavy, just beautifully subtle. I feel really good about choosing this one for her. Honestly, I'd only buy this during a sale. That's really the only way it makes sense to me. Without a discount, I probably wouldn't pick it up again.
