This is my go-to body wash, hands down. Whenever I switch to another brand, my back breaks out immediately. The best part? My skin stays hydrated even without applying a separate body lotion. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about. If I really had to pick something, it would just be that the bottle size is a bit small.

Honestly, none of them really delivered. At first, I thought maybe they were working, but over time, the results just weren't there, and if anything, my skin felt more irritated. I was really torn about which body wash to choose. Then I saw this one had amazing reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. And wow, it's been a total game-changer! I think I'm going to stick with this body wash from now on. I have really sensitive skin and I'm usually hesitant about fragranced products, but I decided to try this one anyway despite the fragrance. There were no issues at all, and I actually loved how it smells. I felt so good after washing! I had comedones on my chest, inflamed acne with comedones on my back, and inflamed acne with comedones on my neck. After about two weeks of using this, everything flattened out. That's why I'm giving it five stars: zero irritation, visible results on my breakouts, and it smells wonderful. The price is really steep, which is a bummer. The amount you get is on the smaller side, but since it actually works, I'll probably keep buying it. I'm hoping Olive Young will stock it and have more sales. I used this together with a body scrub from Jeong Jun Industries, and the combination worked amazingly well. I use the pink-handled one for my hands and the white-handled one designed for back exfoliation. If you've tried everything and still can't get rid of your body acne and bacne, definitely give this a try. I also pour the Heb Blue salmon toner into a spray mist bottle and spritz it on my chest, neck, and back.

I've struggled with atopic skin since childhood, so it's been a lifelong challenge for me. Honestly, there seem to be more ingredients that don't work for me than ones that do! This is my first review, and I have to say—this body wash is genuinely amazing. If you have atopic skin, you absolutely need to try this. And if your child has atopic skin, please get it for them. I've gifted it to so many people around me, and I'm already on my third bottle myself. Now, I want to be real with you—using this won't stop the itching overnight. You might still feel itchy a week in. But after about a month of consistent use, you'll notice the itchy areas shrink significantly. By the time you finish one bottle, you probably won't be scratching anymore. That's been my experience, and everyone I've gifted it to has said the same thing. **The Real Issue Nobody Talks About** So many people dealing with body acne and scalp acne don't realize the problem might be hiding in their body wash ingredients. They have no idea. For me, the hardest thing to find has always been a product without harsh surfactants—whether it's shampoo, body wash, or cleansing foam. **For Those Struggling with Body and Scalp Acne** If you're dealing with body acne or scalp acne, have you actually checked the ingredients in your body wash and shampoo? Is cocamidopropyl betaine in there? If it is, then yes—you're going to get breakouts. Your scalp will weep, it'll itch. Surfactants are genuinely tricky ingredients. When sulfates and similar agents are loaded in, well... you know what happens. **The Cleansing Foam Revolution** Honestly, cleansing foams have gotten so much better in the last two to three years. There are actually usable options now. Before COVID, there were barely any. Can you believe it? Products like Hada Labo Foam, Torriden Dive-In Foam, and Essenature Aqua Rice Foam—these are all recent releases. Before that, I only used Senka Collagen in that slightly alkaline pink foam. Winter was brutal; I felt like my skin was dying from dryness. At least cleansing foam had Senka, but shampoo? There was nothing. I ended up buying expensive Australian brands. For body wash, I had to substitute with Senka. I kept trying different things and kept getting skin inflammation. It was rough. **The Three-Product Rule** Here's what I discovered: if you just choose your shampoo, body wash, and cleansing foam carefully, you don't even need to apply extra moisturizer—atopic skin won't flare up. But recently, as products improved and I felt more confident trying different things without major issues, I got a little careless. Starting this spring, I started using cooling shampoos, body washes with nice fragrances, cooling washes—basically whatever. My body got incredibly itchy, and breakouts started appearing. My atopic skin flared right back up. I regretted it immediately, but it was too late. I went back and organized all the ingredients in an Excel file, filtered out the problematic ones, and took time to really analyze things. I reflected a lot. While reviewing ingredients, my emotions went up and down, but I'm getting back on track now. **My Hada Labo Journey** Starting this spring when my atopic skin flared up, I began using Hada Labo products—starting with the Salmon Cream, then the Yuzu Cleansing Emulsion, and other products not listed on other sites. I even requested that products be added to the database so I could write reviews. **Finally, About This Body Wash** Now, let me actually review this body wash: it's honestly the only one that works perfectly for me and matches my preferences. **1) The Scent** It's not heavily fragranced, but it has a subtle, sophisticated citrus note—not that raw ingredient smell. It's a gentle body wash with a luxurious feel. I really hate that "kitchen detergent" scent that some "pH-balanced" body washes have. If you've dealt with atopic skin or dermatitis for years, you know exactly what I mean, right? How many body washes with that awful smell have you tried? Aren't you tired of it? I am. Before Hada Labo, I used Unique by Washi. That product didn't cause breakouts either, but the pump dispenser was inconvenient, and the scent was so raw that after showering, it didn't feel like I'd actually showered—especially in summer when you could still smell sweat. You know that feeling? With Hada Labo's body wash, the only ingredient flagged red is fragrance. So people say it's bad? Not good? Absolutely not. What's wrong with it? Does fragrance give me atopic flares? No. I have zero issues. I actually prefer it this way. I'd rather have a pleasant citrus scent than a body wash that leaves me smelling like sweat after showering. A gentle, sophisticated, clean-feeling body wash is so much better! **2) Visible Calming** Since June, my troubled skin has calmed down so much. I haven't used a single drop of steroid cream—just this body wash. **3) No More Scratching** I'm not constantly scratching anymore. **4) My Recommendation** If you have atopic skin, body acne, or scalp acne, try this. Just give it a shot. **5) The Packaging** It's not a huge size, which is a bit disappointing, but the pump is convenient and the bottle feels premium and well-made. **6) The Lather** It doesn't create the super-fluffy bubbles you'd get from a drugstore product, but it lathers nicely and effectively. **7) Quality Construction** As you can see in the photos, the bottle is premium and solidly made. I honestly can't find any real downsides. My only wish is that they'd make a larger size—I really need it. I actually know why they don't make a bigger bottle though... you're probably worried the price would go up, right? Come on, just offer it at a better price point! If you do, people will buy more of it anyway! 1) People with atopic skin always think moisturizing is super important—like they need to slather something on. But I always tell them the opposite: sometimes not applying anything is what actually helps you heal. I don't really use body creams or body emulsions much. You know what happens when you don't apply them properly? You end up putting something with weird ingredients on your skin and then breakouts happen. When I occasionally feel dry, I just spray on some Wellage Cream or Wellage Toner. Here's the thing—when you pat yourself dry with a towel, there's still plenty of moisture clinging to your skin. At that point, just squeeze out a tiny amount of moisturizing cream—literally the size of a coin—and you can cover your entire body. Try it! I also love putting toner in a spray bottle and misting it on. Honestly, it hydrates better than applying emulsion. Especially in winter, applying toner to your body works better than cream or emulsion. 2) The body scrub mitt I use is from Philimili and it costs about ten dollars. It feels surprisingly refreshing. You'd think it would be irritating, but it's not. Even though I shower daily, sometimes dead skin still builds up, right? When I gently buff with this mitt like I'm exfoliating, it feels amazing. Highly recommend!
