This absorbs incredibly fast and has a slightly runny texture! After using it, my skin feels amazingly smooth the next day and looks noticeably clearer. Once I apply and let it absorb, my skin feels so soft and powdery - it's such a unique formula! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with combination skin! After applying, my skin feels a bit tight and doesn't feel very moisturized. It has a slight scent, so if you prefer fragrance-free products, you might not love this one. If you're buying this thinking it's a brightening product, I'm honestly not sure it's worth it. To be frank, this product doesn't really have any major standout benefits. Even for sensitive skin, this worked great! I'm noticing gradual results, which is really encouraging. Nothing particularly special about it. I've gotten so used to it now that I can't really tell the brightening effect anymore, but when I first started using it, my skin got noticeably brighter - I literally went from shade 21 to shade 17 and was totally shocked! People kept asking what I had put on my face even though I wasn't wearing makeup, which made me so happy! Plus, whenever my skin gets a bit darker or uneven, one application of this brings everything back to normal right away - it's amazing! After my skin got really irritated over the summer and I was left with uneven pigmentation and dark spots, I was already using Histolab hyaluronic acid and azulene. So I decided to try their vitamin product too. The scent is lovely when I apply it, it absorbs beautifully into my skin, and I've actually noticed it's helping fade those stubborn dark spots. My skin didn't have any heat sensitivity or redness before this. Even when my skin was severely compromised during the summer, there was no heat or redness. I started using the vitamin after my skin recovered, and about two weeks in, I started experiencing heat sensation and redness appearing on my face. It flares up twice a day randomly, which is frustrating. When I stopped using the vitamin for a week, the heat and redness reduced to about three times a week. The price is quite steep, but considering the amount you get, it seems reasonable. I'm not sure about the brightening effect, but I've noticed my blemishes and discoloration are fading. Since vitamin C helps boost collagen production, my pores appear noticeably smaller. I'm so impressed that I've been applying it consistently every morning and night. The value for money is really disappointing. I was hesitant when buying it, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I use all of the Histolab ampoules. I'm currently using this one in my evening routine. This is the only Histolab ampoule with a noticeable scent. It's not an unpleasant fragrance at all—it has a subtle, fresh citrusy vibe to it. Both the application and absorption are excellent. There's really nothing major to complain about. This is an ampoule I keep repurchasing, and I'm really happy with it! It seems to have a subtle brightening effect, and since my skin is sensitive and tends to sting when I use products that don't work for me, I appreciate how gentle this feels. But the bottle is generously sized, so once you buy it, it lasts you a good while, which makes it worth the investment.
