I bought this highlighter because I needed one, and I'm really happy with it. The price is super affordable, the design is gorgeous, and the compact size makes it easy to carry around. The shade has a subtle pink tone that's not overdone at all—it's really understated and works beautifully. The staying power is pretty standard, nothing extraordinary. It doesn't smudge easily, but it doesn't last forever either. For the price, though, it's definitely a great buy. The product spills out way too easily. I just opened the lid to use it, and the contents came pouring right out.

The color payoff is absolutely stunning, and it has this gorgeous shimmer that really catches the light. The texture is so fine and smooth that it doesn't feel heavy at all, and the staying power is impressive too. There weren't really any downsides. The only thing I noticed is that it does emphasize pores a bit in areas where they're more visible. When you apply it to the bridge of your nose, your lips, and the inner corner of your eyes, it looks absolutely beautiful and really makes those areas pop.

I never liked shimmer, so I'd never bought a highlighter before! This time, Holika Holika Sugarless became my first highlighter purchase! After discovering Sugarless, I actually felt a bit sad that I'd waited so long to try a highlighter. When I apply it to my cheeks, it gives such a subtle, beautiful sparkle that looks absolutely gorgeous! The texture is incredibly fine and smooth, and the color is so natural-looking that it makes my whole makeup look fresh and radiant. Nowadays, a highlighter is something I absolutely have to use when I'm doing my makeup! It even looks beautiful in booth photos and other professional shots. This is such a precious product that it's actually made me love shimmer instead of avoiding it! When using it on your nose, you'll want to make sure your base is well-prepped and your pores are properly covered so the highlighter applies beautifully. If you apply it diagonally on the outer corner of your eyes and along your cheekbones, it looks absolutely stunning!

When you look at it in the light, there are definitely cool-toned shimmer particles mixed in, but they don't show up much on the base color. The overall effect is really subtle and refined. For a shadow that's supposed to work as a highlighter, the texture feels chalky and uneven. The powder fallout is pretty intense, and honestly, it's hard to control. Even a light brush stroke causes powder to scatter outside the pan and get all over my makeup bag. I'd recommend using this more as a soft brightener for the inner corner of your eyes or under-eye area rather than as a true highlighter substitute. This is my absolute favorite highlighter. When I apply it, my skin looks incredibly radiant and luminous! It gives me this pearl-like shimmer that I've never experienced with any other highlighter before. The main downside is that the highlighter has a dry, powdery texture. When a highlighter is too powdery, it doesn't last as long and you get that annoying fallout. If it just had a bit more moisture, it would be absolutely perfect. The powder can be a bit dusty and tends to feel patchy, so it may clump if you're not careful with application. The particles aren't super fine, so it doesn't blend as smoothly on its own.
