I absolutely love Holika Holika eyeshadows! I've been using their strawberry shade, but lately I've been craving something with a softer pink tone, so I decided to grab this one. It's absolutely gorgeous!!! Soft and luminous pink shade that brings a natural, fresh glow to your complexion. It's perfect for everyday makeup! If you have cool undertones, you'll especially notice how it brightens and clarifies your skin tone. The texture is incredibly smooth and refined. There's barely any powder fallout, and it blends beautifully whether you apply it with your fingers or a brush without clumping. The adherence to skin is quite impressive too. It's so easy to layer and combine with other shades. Add rosy or warm brown tones on top and you'll instantly elevate the whole look. The color payoff is quite sheer. One application feels almost invisible, so you'll need to build it up with multiple layers to get the color to show through properly. Depending on your skin tone, it can sometimes look a bit pale or puffy. If you have warm undertones, you might want to pair it with a contour shade to add dimension and prevent that washed-out appearance. Worn alone, it feels a bit underwhelming. The shade lacks presence on its own, so it really works best when you combine it with other colors to create more visual interest. Great as an eyeshadow base! Pinky Red is absolutely a product I'll be using forever. There's nothing better for creating the perfect base, and when I mix it with other white-toned shades and apply it to my under-eye area like in the photos, the color payoff and longevity are just unbeatable. As everyone knows, Holika Holika's single shadows have such an amazing texture, and they apply so smoothly every single time. The best part is that it goes on exactly as much as you want without ever looking overdone or patchy. It's just perfectly pigmented and stays exactly where you put it, which I absolutely love. I have over twenty of their single shadows, but this one is definitely my go-to favorite. What's the downside? Wait, did you say downside? Or is it the downside? The downside? This works amazingly well as a base eyeshadow, and I love using it as a blush too since the color blends so beautifully! It's not overly cool-toned pink—it has this soft, muted quality that gives me such a peachy, flattering vibe. I'd be careful when opening the container because the eyeshadow could get damaged if you're not gentle with it. Just something to keep in mind!

Single eyeshadows can be tricky to work with, but I've found success using this one daily by adjusting the amount I apply. I'd definitely recommend it. There's some powder fallout. This cool-toned summer shade gives such a flawless, radiant finish when you apply it. It works beautifully as a base, and I absolutely love how lightweight and effortless it feels for casual outings when you wear it on its own. Since it's a single eyeshadow, I tend to misplace it pretty easily. That's why I'd recommend creating a palette with multiple shades instead. Fluffy, cool-toned blush and eyeshadow hybrid - so versatile! I mostly use it as a blush, and it applies with this gorgeous, pillowy finish that looks beautifully blurred. It's also perfect for brightening up the under-eye area. The texture is incredibly fine and smooth. When I use it as a blush, there's quite a bit of powder fallout. If you don't control the amount carefully, it can look patchy and heavy on the skin.
