The color is absolutely stunning and the staying power is seriously impressive. This is my go-to daily essential! If you apply it too heavily, it tends to look patchy and sit on top of your lips. The shade is quite intense, and if you don't exfoliate first, you might run into some issues with application. Try dabbing it gently across your bare lips in light layers, then apply your regular lip makeup on top. First of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous. I have a deep undertone and cool undertone mix, but it worked beautifully for me! That said, I'd recommend it to anyone with warm undertones. The color payoff is solid, and even when I apply it casually, it looks natural. I genuinely can't recommend this enough as a daily lip color for effortless makeup looks! There's really nothing disappointing about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the shade doesn't make a bold statement? But honestly, I loved how natural it looks. Just swipe it on smoothly and this tint lasts all day long - it's a true everyday essential. It doesn't feel dry, the staying power is fantastic, and since it's a lipstick formula, it's super hygienic. You won't get that annoying situation where the color only seeps into the inner part of your lips. The color payoff is rich but sheer at the same time - you really have to try it to understand what I mean. The shade applies beautifully and because your lips show through so transparently, it looks absolutely gorgeous. Seriously, so many people have asked me what I'm wearing and bought it on the spot. Even though it's a water tint, it doesn't apply with that seeping, melting sensation. I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to find a formula that would feel refreshing and stick to my lips the moment I applied it, but this one doesn't deliver that. That said, the silver lining is that it doesn't have the typical drawbacks of water tints. Depending on the occasion, if you layer a lip oil or lip balm on top, you'll get that perfect glossy, plump lip finish.
