But here's where it really shines—when I layer it over a full makeup look with a matte or base lip, my lips look so plump and bouncy. I'm obsessed! And here's a discovery I didn't expect: this actually works better than most hydrating lip balms and lip masks out there. Seriously! I usually apply lip balm before bed, but one night when I had to stay out, I forgot my balm and used this instead. I woke up with lips that were way more moisturized and fuller than usual. I was shocked! Just so you know, since this is a glossy balm, it doesn't have any color payoff or lasting power, and it will transfer a bit—that's just how it is. The main drawback is that you can't use it with a lip liner, and honestly, the price might be the biggest downside.

Skin Tone: Deep undertone between shades 19-21, light (I avoid anything too pale or coral-toned since I'm a deep undertone) - No ashy or gray cast at all—it's just like a gorgeous dried rose color!! I've been carrying this around constantly and reapplying it throughout the day - It applies with such a smooth, creamy texture, and the moment you put it on, wrinkles instantly appear to vanish. The fine lines around your lips completely disappear, giving you that subtle plumped effect - If you love glossy lips, this is a must-try!! In terms of shine level, I'd say it's glossier than Daisy's balm formula and even glossier than Rom&nd Juicy Lasting - Even though it's technically a lip product, I use it as a cheek tint too. When I apply it to my cheeks, the color isn't too intense and looks absolutely beautiful!! Though I have to say, it does wear away pretty quickly because of how pigmented it is The color and glossiness are totally my vibe... - It claims to be volumizing with a plumping effect, but honestly, I didn't feel any actual lip-plumping sensation. Instead, like I mentioned before, it smooths out your lips and fills in fine lines, making them look slightly fuller—that's about it - Right after application, the color is absolutely stunning, but after about an hour, the color starts to fade noticeably. I took a photo and was shocked because the color barely showed up - When you first apply it, the texture feels incredibly smooth and hydrating, but that moisture doesn't last long. Even though it's not winter yet, after a while the product starts to feel dry, and if you pick at any flakes, they come off in larger chunks than expected Bottom line: You'll need to keep this with you and reapply frequently throughout the day.
