The color payoff is absolutely incredible! The finish is so sophisticated and has this gorgeous subtle shimmer that's just perfect. I'm recommending this to everyone! There's definitely a reason this costs what it does! The color payoff is absolutely stunning, and it creates this gorgeous subtle shimmer that looks so beautiful. If you're on the fence about it, just buy it already! Seriously, if you have deep undertones or warm undertones, the shade looks incredible when you apply it. The soft pink and rosy tones blend together perfectly, making it so versatile to use. The scent is a bit disappointing, and if you don't shake it well before using, the product separates and you get this clear oily liquid coming out, which is kind of annoying. Definitely use a cushion applicator or sponge instead of your fingers! You'll get much better coverage and the color will look more intense even with just a little bit of product.

Rather than warm-cool color theory, I find myself more influenced by the brightness and muted tone temperature. With my rosy, flushed complexion, I naturally gravitate toward pink-based shades and tend to skip over highly saturated pinks and orange-coral blushes. 1. You really need to shake this bottle thoroughly and press down on the rubber stopper at the back to get just one drop out. Honestly, one single drop gives you enough pigment to create an entire Chinese opera-inspired makeup look across your face! If you don't shake it well enough, you might just get oil coming out instead. 2. My skin is extremely dry, and since I don't experience breakouts, I absolutely love that dewy, luminous oil-infused finish. I initially purchased the cool-toned shade called Whim at the counter, but the temperature was way too cool for me, so it ended up sitting unused. I couldn't let it go though, so I later picked up Scene, which appeared to have warmer undertones, and I actually use that one so much more. The muted tone of Scene turned out to be exactly what works for me. No matter how delicately I apply the cool-toned shades, temperature matters more to me than the actual color itself, so those highly saturated pinks just don't work with my skin. 3. This line has a genuinely high oil content compared to liquid blushes from other brands, so you really do get that luminous, dewy finish. If you have oily skin, this formula probably isn't for you. 4. This feels like the premium upgrade to Amuse's Cheek Tok Tok. That said, I'm not sure if Amuse offers better wearability, value for money, or overall satisfaction. The staying power and color payoff do seem to match the price point, and Hourglass definitely outperforms Amuse in both longevity and pigmentation. 5. The moisture level is even better than Nars liquid blush, but the application isn't straightforward and the pigment is incredibly potent, so it took me a while to get used to it. Think of it this way: you can only use about one-tenth of the amount you dispense onto the back of your hand on your face. Blend it out on your hand first, and if you have the Hourglass blush brush, roll it through the product to pick up the formula, then roll it onto your face for a sheer, delicate application. Alternatively, use a soft, flexible sponge to spread it out over a wider area, pick up the product, and then gently tap it onto your face with a light hand. 6. If you apply this blush over a luminous foundation, you're essentially layering oil on top of oil, which doesn't blend well and looks messy. When it breaks down, it tends to clump with the foundation. You really need to use it over a semi-matte or matte foundation or cushion so the oil-based formula absorbs seamlessly and creates that perfect harmony. 7. When it's not drying and you apply it correctly, this product truly embodies Hourglass's signature refined aesthetic. That delicate, barely-there luminosity creates such an elegant, polished makeup look that really showcases the brand's identity. I'm genuinely obsessed with it. Honestly, the final result is even more impressive than what you get with YSL or Armani blushes. 8. Because the application technique is challenging, I wouldn't recommend it as a gift or suggest it to friends easily. And don't even get me started on why the matching brush is so expensive! It feels like you're paying more for the accessories than the product itself. 9. The fact that such a tiny amount lasts forever is honestly a huge advantage! The formula isn't easy to apply, so there's definitely a learning curve. When you get it right, you get that beautiful, delicate flush. But if you mess up the application, you'll end up looking like a burnt sweet potato, which is pretty easy to do with this blush! The color payoff is amazing and it feels so moisturizing on the skin. A little goes a long way, so you only need a tiny amount. If the color turns out too intense, you can easily dial it back by pressing powder over the top to adjust the intensity. When you first use it, you have to press the back quite firmly to get the product to come out, but I do appreciate how hygienic that design is. I'm a bit worried that it might tear or break if I use it too much. Nothing else to mention.

Easy-to-use essence formula that glides on smoothly. Long-wearing color that stays put like a tint. Hygienic, convenient packaging. This product is very similar to NARS Liquid Blush, but it comes in more understated, sophisticated shades that still make a statement. The color payoff is incredible even with the tiniest amount, and you can adjust the intensity to create different looks depending on your mood or occasion. Since it's an imported product, it doesn't have those super bright, dewy shades that really pop. The brand mentioned during a live shopping event that it works beautifully on the lips too, but honestly, the staying power on my lips wasn't as impressive as I'd hoped.
