It won't transform thin lips into plump ones, but it does an amazing job of boosting your confidence. I was worried it might look too sheer at first, but it actually blends beautifully and looks so natural. I wish the wear time lasted a bit longer. Deep undertone. I picked this up because it's such a popular product, and I also tried shades 2 (creamy pink) and 6 (rose beige), but this color just flatters my skin tone so much better. It applies smoothly and the staying power is honestly impressive! It's perfect for overlining your lips. It looked fine during the swatch test, but when I actually applied it for the first time, it clashed so much with my natural lip color that I was pretty shocked. That said, it works great once you layer another lip product on top. There's a bit of texture showing through, and it tends to settle into dry patches, so I have to blend it out with my finger. The blending is seamless and the staying power is absolutely fantastic! I was worried that the light shade might not show up well, but it applies with such a natural, beautiful color payoff! This is my go-to lip pencil for staying power. It's absolutely perfect when I want that rosy lip look! I don't have the red shade 202 available. Could you please lower the price? I have sensitive lips and need something gentler.

It doesn't look overdone at all - it matches your natural lip color perfectly, and I'm really happy with it! 2. I have darker pigmentation around my lips, so I usually need to use a lip pencil to define my lips first. But this works amazingly well as a base! Since my lips tend to be on the dry side, when I apply this all over my lips including the inner area, it does emphasize fine lines a bit. This pairs beautifully with matte lipstick. It's so convenient because you don't need to sharpen it. It's thicker than I expected and the shade runs quite cool. I picked this up on a whim without expecting much, but it's actually great for everyday wear. The BB formula is fantastic, and I especially love how well it brightens and defines my lip line. The shade is exactly my color, so I'm really happy with it. First of all, it smudges like crazy and transfers everywhere. That's a real dealbreaker for me. Now that I'm in my 40s, I've noticed dark lines appearing around my lips. Since I have sensitive skin, I've barely worn makeup since my 20s and usually just apply lip balm. So imagine my surprise discovering lip lines! I initially thought the discoloration was caused by lipstick, but it turns out the real culprits are coffee, green tea, and toothpaste. The tannins from these products gradually build up on the lips, causing pigmentation. The center of the lips stays lighter because saliva naturally washes it away. The solution is to wipe your lips with a clean, damp tissue or cloth after drinking anything with tannins. As for toothpaste, while rinsing with water seems logical, a renowned Japanese cosmetic chemist explains that toothpaste particles cling strongly to lips even when invisible. You need to use a cleansing water-soaked cotton pad after brushing, then rinse again with water for complete removal. Though honestly, this level of care is probably only necessary for someone like me with extremely reactive, sensitive skin like atopic dermatitis. Since the lines darkened my lips, I used to create a gradient with darker color in the center when applying makeup. Now I match my lip color to the darker line shade for the most natural look. When I apply this product over the lines or sticky formulas, it covers them right away. The pen tip is thick enough that two applications completely conceal the lines. It's not too stiff and not too soft, so I can apply it with confidence. This product can even work as a lipstick alternative. The wear time isn't very long. It fades almost immediately when you drink anything. Shades 6 and 7 are very subtly different. When I swatch them on my arm, the difference is noticeable, but on the lips, they don't look that different. Shade 6 has more pink undertones while shade 7 is more muted. If you only need to cover lines like me, I'd recommend shade 7. If you're planning to wear lipstick over it, go with shade 6. Honestly, most lip liners are designed with the assumption that you'll wear lipstick on top, so they're matched to popular lipstick shades rather than your actual lip tone. This makes it challenging to find a liner that truly matches your natural lip color. If you suddenly notice lines appearing on your lips, keep a damp tissue handy when drinking beverages. The color payoff is quite sheer. The matte finish is really intense. I'd recommend this for anyone with cool undertones.
